Ok, going to end the quote chain now. Anyways, in reply to damned.
Like I said, I rarely see any ricer going 130+ MPH, so that means the spoiler is fucking useless. As for which car I would rather buy (assuming I would spend the money to buy a really expensive car, because I didnt spend it on a nice motorcycle first), well, this is an easy choice. The McLaren F1 GT.
To be honest with you, im not sure if its still the fastest car in the world, but it still is up there after all these years. I also love how if you actually bought one, you would have to fly into their factory, and "fit" the car. Meaning they would fit the seats to your own ass, etc..

But a 2003 Cobra costs around 39k....
A new 2005 350Z (Performance package) goes for about 32k..
Wich one´s faster on track? I would say the 350Z, sure it has less hp than the Cobra, (280) but that´s still more than enough...and the Cobra weighs 1.6+ tons...

1.) No, A 350Z is in no way faster/better on the track or off the line. Not to mention, if you wanted a new stock 350Z to actually be faster then a stock cobra, you will end up paying way more in the end on upgrades to the engine and transmission. Where as you could have just paid 7 grand more for a car that looks, and performs better without any modifications.
2.) You still dont get it. We hate the average ricer because they say/do things about/with cars that in no way make the car faster, yet they have the attitude that it does.
3.) You asked me what car I would rather have, I told you.
And if you wanted me to pick a car in the 30 grand range, I wouldnt even say a performance car. I would pick a nice new volvo. They have great engines, and last forever. But personally I would say fuck you, steal the 30 grand, and buy 2 triumph Rocket 3's.
In a few years I see this whole ricer movement thing dying down. Just because the mindless ricer's are finally thinking for themselves, and realizing that what they are doing to their cars, makes it run worse.
Games like NFSU dont help though. That game would have been fine, except they did one thing that completely made it gay. You were forced to make your car look like shit with body modifications to progress in the game - Yet magically, THE BODY MODIFICATIONS DID NOTHING to performance, imagine that.. If you put that much shit on a car in real life, you will easily gain 3 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Which is bad.
And no offense, but if you loved cars you would realize putting big plastic pieces of shit on it would make it loose performance. Paint and stickers, go ahead. But Body mods are a big no-no.

Give it a rest already! The cobra is a heavy pice of shit car based on ancient tech, and there are dozens of familyycars out ther that owns even a modded one. I like the mustang and the corvette and some other american cars, but they are so behind on tech that its just tragic!
My stock benz easily whips a cobra on the quartermile!
Hell, it even beats modded cobras on the quartermile!
So please leave the american car fanboy attitude somewhere else, that was not the intention when i started this thread.

And you have missunderstood me. I also hate the people who claim they know cars, and yet slap on wings larger than on Boeing´s, have 5" exhaust tips and so on. It´s just that you diss the cars just because of the people that "molest" them. They´re still great cars! And how can you think a heavy Cobra could corner better than a 350Z Track edition? No way. But still, i like the Cobra, lots of power and torque. I DO LOVE CARS, and i haven´t said that slapping on some ugly peice of shit bodykit (Like, all the ones in NFSU) would make you car go faster. There are bodykits that give you better aerodynamics, but ofcourse only in high speeds.
And i have to agree with ollax (though he came on a lttile strong there  )
I´m not saying you are a American car fanboy, but there are people who are. And yes, swedish cars own, from Volvo to Koenigsegg.

Maybe so! I've done som minor mods so its around 550 rwp, but its still a functional familycar and i drove from sweden to france back and forth with it this fall whithout any problems, try doing that comfortably in a modded cobra !

If you are racing a stock benz, then you arent a ricer at all, yet you claim you are? Huh? Not to mention you didnt even mention which benz would be pitted up against the cobra. That race was completely un-fair regardless of how well modded the cobra was. The E55 is a class above the cobra. You get what you pay for. But this is my point, why the hell are you argueing with me, saying your pro-ricer, when what you support is anti-ricer.
This arguement is done. I told you whats what, then you have the audasity to tell me i'm a moron, because I say ricer's are fucking stupid. Yet you yourself prove my own point with that stock mercedes. Jesus Christ.
I would also like to point out the fact that your mercedes begins to be owned near the end of track, the cobra clearly would have pulled ahead of the mercedes given a few more seconds.
