Yes idiots, spread the hate. The servers were down for a total of 15-20 minutes today(which is the same time that Steam does their server sweep and you can't connect to shit), and they are working perfectly. If you bought the fucking game you wouldn't be complaining.

Wow, new game comes out with no functional crack yet and suddenly there are newfags on the hump spreading hate. What the fuck.

Do you atleast use that fucking STEAM ? Even if the servers are in fucking maintenance you still can fucking Login and play the god damn games, wake the fuck up. Im glad you bought it, fucking ejoy it and here's my 0.02$.

Funny, it's still not responding, hah.
(This is why while I support games I like by buying them I also prefer a working crack for backup reasons like this.)

We need the Information Minister picture with Ubisoft telling everyone there is nothing to worry about right about now.

Not buying this until they get their stupid DRM sorted (read: removed). I have to use Comcast if I want high-speed Internet here, and believe me, that shit goes down enough -- and when it does, I want me some single-player gaming. I can't have that with Uplay. (They should rename it Umightplay.)

Even with 24/7 internet, there's always going to be the chance of connection refusals, or waiting queues just to start up the game probably. Next thing you know you'll be charged or limited for how many saves you can make.

i cant support DRM like this. I think theyve taken it too far. I buy something its mine, i'm not buying anything that has limited activations, or that has to constantly call home UNLESS the drm is cracked. For me i'm on the road alot with work, i bought a gaming laptop, because the ones my company provide are good for office funtions and playing dvd movies. I'm a gamer i like to game, and hotel living is boring as hell. Whilst most hotels have good internet coverage, some dont, ive been in 2 already this year that have nothing. I dont get to choose where i stay, my company decides that for me. I always take my gaming laptop with me when i'm gone from home for a week or 2 weeks at a time, if its a couple of days i just take a slim portable drive loaded with movies n tv eps. So drm this intrusive is no friend to me. If it werent for cracking groups i wouldnt have bought many games i own, i guess its a double edged sword

I can see it now!
Quote:
"Thanks for using the SAVE feature! You've already used your 2 free saves, but you can get more anytime for only $2.99 per save!

All your save games are stored on our servers so you can access them from anywhere!*

*Internet connection required, our servers might be down and, if so, you're fucking then."

Single player games can have online functions and features, I'm totally cool with that. But forcing me to rely on some company's server to even PLAY my single player game is really over the top.

I feel bad for anyone that's getting boned by this shit.

1. Most of the clients get a refund and the servers will be bothered by 1 player every day, not thousands like now.

2. They remove this shit.

At least until they remove it. Laughing I put a lot of heart in it. Smile

i think i know the future:

if AC2 crack will not be out befor metro 2033 release, what will happans is that we all gonna be busy playing metro 2033 and it will make us forget AC2 game and maybe latter after we will finish the metro , AC2 will come..just maybe:)

at least this future will work for me..

only if the metro 2033 will be good as it looks like now and if not, all this crap i just said is not relevant Cool

"You know what I find funny? I posted a picture saying "I fixed Unisoft's box art" and edited it so it said "World of Assassins Creed 2", mocking the fact that you need a constant internet connection to play and that was SO OFFENSIVE IT WAS DELETED IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES, as well as the account being suspended. However, a dragon made out of p3nises, check page 7 if you're curious because as of posting this it's still there, that's just fine and offensive to noone at all. It's been there for several hours now."

Well, I think that everyone is missing something here.

Fubisoft stated that their new DRM won't get cracked (It will get cracked, just not within a few days of the game release). They didn't say anything about the game being playable. They didn't promise that their servers wouldn't crash, did nothing to insure so that paying customers would be able to play the game. They just said that they made a very secure DRM. That's the case with AC2.

In adition, they made the same thing with SH5, but also protected the game by implementing a large quantity of bugs so that it would be even harder to tell triggers appart from bugs. (One would think that games are full of bugs because they were rushed, but not in this case)

Just joking, but it sure looks like that...

On the other hand, someone already said that there are some new games that have close to no protection at all, but are very successful (e.g. Borderlands, Mass Effect 2...). I bet that they made more money than Fubi.

thats what i said while ago, they are loosing good audience while doing that and a good game do not need protection

A few people doesn't constitute the entire population of people who bought the game.

Anyways those few may not have set an open port for AC2 to contact home. And by the way some of them wrote on the forum, most aren't even interested in help they just wanted to stomp their feet in a forum like a 5 year old.

Then of course you have some people here signing up and posting stupid pics as if they are cool.

That thread IMHO is full of fail.
