Omg, bought a key for $23 dollars. Ran the launcher, registered the key, and:
"Failed to connect to Ubisoft master servers".
After about 20 tries, the game launches and hangs at "Establishing network connection."
Edit: Game seems to be working now (for now).

Chandler's "Niahniahniahhah" laugh to all of you who spent money on this game only to not be allowed to play.

sorry this is bullshit.
it give countrys where it is allowed to make a copy from your game, musik cd etc.
the prob is that the publishers make a hard copy protection , that it not easy to make a copy. also you download a copy.
and this is not stealing! the industry make a great propaganda about steal and his cry that they can not make enough money.
only the industry will cut the right of the consumer
i am happy that not every country put the head in the industrys ass
btw sorry my english

They're doing something with their servers as I said or maybe they're just down or there's some DDoS attack on the cluster or what it's called going on.
Logging in works but playing is very difficult and uPlay seems down entirely from in-game.

I agree. There's one major difference. When you steal physically from say a store, you take an item away. As a result no one else can buy that item and the store loses money. This is not the case with copyright infringement. And that argument about the co-worker doesn't fly either. That would require pirates to break in (hack) e.g Ubisoft and take away something and publish it as their own. I'm not defending it at all, just saying that copyright infringement is not the same as stealing no matter how you fucking you slice it.

They should keep that DDoS attack until press starts released bad PR about that DRM. The more the merrier.
Also, if 4chan weren't such dumbos, they'd use their power to troll (and DDoS more) Ubisoft to the limit, instead of going after silly targets no one cares about.

Total waste of $$. Do not buy. |
Where did you buy your key from?

It doesn't matter who did it, it showcases the major flaw in their shit - people can't play a game they have purchased. And own. Or do they?

Aren't we passed the "harrharr" fakes? BTW, putting a spoiler just after some expected release announcement really isn't good practice for trolling.

You get a screen when the connection is gone. The only choice on that screen is "exit to Windows". The great thing is that while freerunning (which you do most of the time), your finger is on the freerun button. That's recognized as input, so you say a big fucking yes to "exit to Windows" every time connection is lost. That's pure genious right there, brilliant design. | well you bought it a game that exits to windows every time a connection is lost
wtf happened to another US army outcry "how can we play our games oversees and bomb/rape/murder some Arab country" the troops are getting soft.

Game's great though. I'm loving it even though I'm doing meanigless shit (not an assassin yet).
Can someone link me to a summary of AC1 ending? I never finished it.

Would love to see some official statements by Ubisoft like " Our servers got attacked by some hackers " " We suffered some DDoS attacks, sorry for the ....bla bla " and after few months of attacks " Ubisoft release a DRM patch for AC2 and upcoming titles "

You would still only be walking around that empty Animus loading sequence area though wouldn'y you? so just replacing the white screen effect whatever it is probably won't work.
