G2Play works without a problem. You may use this Referal-code: 3156REFERRAL5881
and get 4% off the price.

nici nu am stiut ...
Anyway. I think I understand Ubi. Yes, shoot me now.
Take valve's steam. I remember all the hate when they started using that. Then more and more people joined, now it's 25 million users. Most of my games are on steam, something like 75-80%. Yes, it's crackable, but nowadays legit users have the service working most of the time. It turned out well.
Ubi is trying to protect their IPs, that's all. And they are right. Yes, games are not cheap, but as long as people actually want to pay for them, it's all legit, according to capitalism. Yes, I pirate games, but it's not pretentious bullshit. I do it, because I can. And I am a thief, as are all of you here, who pirate games. It's that simple. Ubi wants to fight us, so bring it on, they're not dicks for trying that.
Also, I rather have this system, than, activation limits and starforce, if I was a legit user.
So, yes, in a sense, I call many of you bullshitters, no offence. You act as though Ubisoft did something against you, that was immoral or something. They didn't. They came up with a good DRM, non-intrusive. It was more than a year, since I had my internet drop for more than a few minutes.

that was a good an honest post and i respect it and agree with it as it kinda reflects my POV. i buy games (about 3 - 4 a year) that i feel deserve it (my last games were MW2, Bad company 2, GTA IV, Farcry 2, ARMA 2 and a few more) and DL the ones that im not that hyped for.
ppl that think that UBI is doing something immoral do not have a full right to say that if they are the kind that DL games cuz that's a lot more immoral than that DRM.
however we do not know the ways and means of that DRM. as far as i can tell it alters files of my game that are on my HDD. it adds and removes data from them all the time and it gives me a sense of not owning my data (theoretically cuz i havent bought AC2 yet). i dont like that.
and what's more is that this DRM might keep track of my ubi account and might invade my privacy in some way. it may collect data from my HDD or what-not and move it to who knows where. the DRM might be a gate for viruses (if someone can get into it somehow. someone who isnt UBI, of course) and loggin into the ubi-servers is something that might not work (the same way it NEVER worked for my Farcry 2 game. never played one MP match of that damn game. always connection issues). it just involves a lot of potential problems that may prevent me from even booting the game up or keeping my rig safe.
i want to buy AC2. i really do. i want to support PC gaming and the makers of this great game, but i dont want to support the DRM. i dont wont to help opening this gate cuz who knows what hides deeper in that tunnel. i dont want to take a risk that i wont be able to log-in and not be able to play AC2 after paying for it. i wont be able to return it , sadly. stores here dont allow it.

Radicalus few things. Everyone have dvd rom nowadays so I can live with starforce, activation limit is a bit of problem but when you reach it you call to the company and they give you a way to extend this limit so you can install and play again. But not everyone have fast totally reliable internet connection and this game requires it.
But most important for me and i think many other people. For a guy in UK or US or other rich country price of most game is what 1/30 1/40 of his salary and i`m talking about medium/low salary for me its 1/10 or 1/15 of my salary so its pretty fucking much don`t you think ? Sometimes I don`t buy even ONE game in a year if the price according to my salary was like in those other countries I SWEAR I would buy at least one or two games. If it were cheaper I would buy even more. So ask yourself what is better, at current situation companies most of the time don`t get any money from me but they don`t loose anything too, with lower prices they would get my money and other ppl like me and i`m 100% sure their profit from good games would be much bigger than now. In modern games there`s too much money wasted on stupid shit like protection, adverts or other marketing shit

marketing is important. very important (to the company. not the hardcore gamers).
protection - yeah. i preferred if they kinda dropped it to something more mundane.
today games coast a lot more to make than they used to and will only coast more. this is why prices will only go UP. companies need to cover their expenses which only get bigger.
yeah - if games were cheaper than i'd buy more of them too but i dont think companies can afford that since they dont believe they will profit more. the believe than if they sold 10000 units of a game that coasts 50$ , they might sell 15000 units of a game that coasts 30$ and they will lose money. i assume they believe that the amount of ppl that will suddenly buy more games is not as large as the drop of price.

East coasts or west coasts?
Because north coasts and south coasts cost more!

Damn! I'm so tempted to buy a key from G2Play but I'm not sure they can be trusted (heard stuff about them selling stolen keys)
Anybody know anything about G2play?
