Hey guys can u answer me one question ? Why does the game run like crap on a hd4870 , 2 gb ram , and an athlon 2 x2 250 @ 3.5 ghz ? In crowded places the frame rate goes below 30 sometimes , and i don't even have the settings maxed out .

Usually it's the drivers :/
What are your settings like? I know for me my card (4850) runs great until I kick up the AA/AAA.

anyone experiencing objects poppin' out of nowhere on the screen when running....my guess is the lack of detailed draw distance

Walked through the city with my HD3870, all maxed with AA 2x @ 1280x1024 (19'' monitor :\ ) and there was no problem at all. I'm using the 10.2 HOTFIX drivers, not that it matters for an old card like mine.

One of the "benefits" that new drm brings was said to be that you wont need a disc in the drive to play it. So i guess it should work.
