Yup, it dies the second you click Skirmish or try to start a Campaign.
How the F! do you make a 3 gig "crack" and not test it properly ?

It's not the crack, seems Steam fucked it up.

Those of you who have problems with razors game:
1. Did you try demo? Did it work ok?
2. Did you update your DX9 (nine,not 10)?
3. Is this problem only on win7?
Because guys with steam orig. version have no problems. They just did not "refresh steam" properly and started to flood forums with lame complaints. Game works without problems from steam.

Hasty climbers have sudden falls. That's what razor have been lately. Hope they're shedding rivers of sweat over the crackfix now. Really tired of putting up such slapdash, half-cooked releases of theirs. Or at least rld could step up saving the day for once more...

Right a Crackfix is out and as someone above said, Dear GOD this game sucks compared to the original Supreme Commander.
It's not so much "Dumbed down" as "Made braindead".
It is a game for kids now, little 8-10 year olds or something, even the graphics have not improved anything noteworthy.
Here's my advice, Save your bandwith and your sanity, don't get this shit

Utter disappointment. For all SC fans the best thing to do is to never try this POS! What is wrong with RTS as a genre lately?

Oh sthu.
There doesn't seem to be any way to play it online using the Razor release. There is no LAN option and the game seems to be using some master server which is stripped in the cracked version, no way to join by IP either.
FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU
Edit: Forgot to mention it crashes when chosing to host a game.

DoW2 > 1 by a fucking mile tbh. I'd much rather have coop, Last Stand and a bit of balance than the 7 races and larger battles. DoW1 was fucking terrible balance-wise.

I guess that's why we get a lot of options. For me personally, I love DoW 2. It's the fact that I don't have to deal with a base and just concern myself with unit micro and such that makes it appealing and not like every other RTS. My favorite is The Last Stand, but alas, I don't think there are any new maps for TLS at release. Still, I'm looking forward to the game next week. As for SC2, I haven't played enough of it to get a real feel, but I love what I've seen thus far. To be honest, I really was not that big of a SC 2 player. I mostly played on LAN with friends and such. I was more in to WC3, but really not competitively. The SC2 beta seems awesome so far though and, to be honest, a bit overwhelming to someone who is not an RTS god. Took me forever to realize I had to hit V for advanced buildings lol.

it doesnt need to be a BAD game as you picture it... it just could be not the best, thats all. i'm not gonna play c&c4 by any chance because i'm old westwood c&c fan, but also a fan of supreme commander series. And this could be just -not that amazing experience- as SC1 was. however, there were few things I liked in a demo, that's why I think it's worth of try...
