First of all IW could resigned from Activision just like SiGames did from Eidos. No but IW wanted to be their bitch by doing everything they said without own opinions (or who knows) and MW2 was the result of that.
Fuck everything your loyal fans want just make the dam profit and that's it.
This is not the first time when some game studio tries to escape from the big beast and IW could do just as many of the others did.
ps. I still have a little bit of hope that maybe one day we're gonna see same kick ass CoD as 1, 2 and 4 were.

Activision wanted to make a patch that makes MW2 MP battles subscription based IW said NO so Activions fires the Top Dogs and leaves the YEs men to make it happen ....
IF now those two will be offered a job in EAs New Medal Of Honor i will LULZ

Unfortunately, your opinion means nothing to them. The game sold damn well. They see dollars. The whole cheating fiasco and backlash doesn't mean shit to them. If people would've voted with their wallets then perhaps something would be done.

I don't think it would save MW2 from where it is now. It's totally fucked up project and no DLC can save it except getting few curious CoD games for a while.
If DLC is not free then I think I will say my last "fuck you" for the whole thing.

Whoa whoa whoa, hold up guys. Yes, IW were severe cunts for letting Activision push them around like they did, and MW2 is definitely a failure, but come on! Who do you hate more? Bobby Fucking Kotick, or the guys who - aside from one fuck up - brought us a SERIES of fantastic games?
Now to find out that the Kotick Cunt has withheld the royalty payments? He and his god-forsaken company made untold millions off MW2 and now he's refusing to pay royalties to those guys that made it happen? No, no way, hate IW all you want - but what's happening to them is seriously fucked up!

Aye, I have to agree with you on this one if the story is true, that Activision withheld royalty's, then its really fucked up, like it or not IW earned their slice of the pie, fair and square, considering how much money Activision made on MW2 and that regardless of any personal opinion of the game.

There should be contracts, but it is possible that according to them IW shouldn't get much at all, but seeing how successful MW2 was, they might have wanted more...so the trouble ensues.
Again this is all speculation, at this point we don't really know anything.

I tend to agree, but sadly when a game costs millions in development... you're gonna need someone to help foot that bill  Really, what the answer should have been is; "This is why you don't use Activistion or EA as publishers" |
