About RAM, you can always add it yourself, that is among the only things that you can change in a laptop.
Also, if you want a decent video card, you will have to look at 15" minimum, as the small ones just can't handle good video cards at the size and heat dispensation they offer.
That said, I apologize, I can't recommend a specific model.

Not to mention the fact that you pay double because it's a Mac.
You won't find a laptop with that kind of battery life + all of those features.
Define "decent videocard"? If you mean decent enough so you can play HD crap, I suggest you look into the MSI X-Slim series. To my knowledge, they all have Bluetooth built in. Got an X340 myself, plays everything just fine.
If you want a decent enough videocard to run games properly, then you won't find one with that kind of battery life I think.
And don't stare yourself blind on the DVD drive. Mine hasn't got one, so I bought an external drive instead. Also threw out the optical drive in my normal PC, because I rarely use it anyway, and the external one does just fine (DVD-RW drive for the record, burning with it is fine).
Not even Macbooks have a really decent videocard, although the GF9400 is better than the Intel 4500 you find in most of these weaker notebooks. I can give something like HoN a try for you if you want, see if it can run that with lower graphic settings, but I doubt it.
Why the Mac hate btw? I'm not a Mac fan myself, because I think Apple are just as bad as Microsoft, but the OS itself is fine. I just don't like the price they charge for all the extra bullshit software that comes with it, 90% of which I wouldn't even use anyway because there's better open source alternatives.

There's one combination which you won't be able to get: Gaming + good battery life. There is no laptop out there that's actually somewhat decent for gaming, AND has the kind of battery life you want. Plenty of laptops that can do 1080p playback and actually have decent CPUs with that kind of battery life, but it's the GPU that eats away on the battery.

Ok, I found what I'm looking for. I am now thinking of buying one of these:
ASUS UL80Vt-A1 - $823.53 on Amazon
ASUS UL50VT-RBBBK05 - $729.99 on BestBuy
The amazon one is 14inch and costs a 100 more for some reason. Any ideas?

If you read my original post, I said I'm looking for "a decent video card". Trust me, I have a kick ass desktop at home, I just need something good for the road, that's all.
Anyway, my question is how come best buy sells the 15inch for 100 less than amazon. Usually amazon beats everyone. Is there a difference in quality or features I'm missing?

here is something from some other forum...
Quote: | Couple other differences between the Best buy model and the A1,
-Rubberized palm rest like the UL30's
-Touchpad is not perforated with the small holes, it's smooth and almost difficult to tell where it starts and where the rubber rests start in low lighting.
-Nothing in the box. Generic manual and power brick don't count. No Cd's of any kind. Got a cable tie though.
-Best Buy preload crap |

Ok, I went to bestbuy and I'm definitely going for the 14inch from Amazon. The one at bestbuy had a rubber finish (which sucks) and the 15inch size is just too big (although very slim I must say).
