Don't hope for the game to fail. At least they're making a sub simulation, which isn't exactly an oversatured genre. Hope that the ridiculously over the top DRM fails miserably and Ubisoft give up on the idea.
Soon games will be subscription only, costing £50 a day to pay the man who sits in the corner of the room making sure you're not doing anything naughty.

hope that! BUT the thing that worry me is that the savegames will be saved on UBI servers... so... how to crack that? it have to very hard coded inside the game... one more week!
What do you mean how? The game sends the save to the server, so if they are building a server emulator, just take that data and put it down locally.
There were conflicting reports that saves will also be local, so that may come into play too.
im sure after a year or so a patch is released to get rid of the DRM like in anno, this is just to get the max out of the first month of sales
sure they will do that, in the past SH3 have starforce and they remove it in the last patch... here will be the same. first collect big $$$ then easy the things...
but hope the crack masters out there will crack this damn DRM the first day!! haha
It appears the game waits two minutes when you pull the plug and then this happens:
You can resume the game where you left off BUT the guy cannot disable his adapter the game won't allow him to I'm pretty sure this is illegal, I mean the game took over a piece of his hardware and embraced it as it's own
nice there is already game that using this protection,now we can see how match the protection is hard to crack,it will be epic fail for Ubi if the game will be cracked soon,I think all the people will use the crack,even legit players.
I feel very sorry for legit players who want to pay their hard worked money to support devs. This Ubis DRM is so fookin retarded that their executive board should be shot at sight as they are nuking their own company, it's like sabotage.
Same as S7 beta, see that little "gear" icon, clicking that allows you to disable online save storage, unsure if more options have been added since.
(Or you could just click when that image comes up, heh.)
