Anyone tried the reloaded release with the Razor 1911 version? Do you just change the registry location to DVD or is there more to it?

its just copy paste.. works on any version.. even works with previous razor 1.21 which didnt even launch for me..

Anyone know if I can just:
install the base game
copy/paste first 2 DLC
then copy/paste the latest DLC and patch to 1.3

Or do I have to use the 1.2 patch in between as well?

Basically, is the 1.3 a cumulative patch? Smile

reloaded dlcs contain patches.. so you can.. it would probably would work with just game + third dlc

Download the main game Borderlands-Reloaded release then download the 3-dlc also Reloaded release and then install main game.After that copy paste dlc 1 , dlc 2 , dlc3
Reloaded releases include the patches inside the files.

I have RAZOR release (the game), and the first 2 DLC from RELOADED; and works perfectly (I never patched the game because RELOADED DLC releases always include it)

Downloading right now the 3rd DLC.

I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.

Exactly, thats was patched, so cheaters (like you?) cannot enter multiplayer with that shit!

I never cheated online and never will ( q3 player for nearly 10 years Wink )

I only played borderlands offline, never online, but it was kinda awesome to kill all the zombies with my UBER SMG Laughing

to honest, with the modified weapons the game was kinda boring, so its ok, and iĀ“m glad that it was patched.

You can still modify weapons but there's a "legitimacy" check if it's valid or not now so you can't use parts from different manufacturers and such for uber high end weapons. Razz
(Willowtree is being updated for this and general DLC support.)

Some more screens, nearly finished with this DLC.


(Seems like a good end though new content is always nice if they continue DLC support.)

Installed RELOADED release + unpacked all RELOADED DLCs one by one. Started a blank new character and as soon as I reached the first teleporter I discovered that I could jump into all three DLC despite the fact that my character is only level 3.

I have read that DLCs have minimum level requirements, for example Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is level 10. Were such min level requirements lifted in the latest patch / General Knoxx DLC or I managed to FUBAR my install Scratch Head

There were no level requirements for the previous DLCs. You could always access them as soon as you had fast travel capability.

EDIT: At least, that's what I was told.

i somehow had idea that their quest and mobs scaled in lvl according to you.. but they clearly dont in third dlc.. or maybe never did anyway..

its 35+ lvl for third dlc.. or 50+ for second go.. since i started on 40 lvl... its silly.. hardly get exp..

as for dlc.. travel.. a lot of travel.. and only one fast travel like in previous dlc..

oh you just wasted 20 mins getting to one location.. another half hour latter.. you feel like doing something else? NP quit now.. and restart where you started.. using another 50 mins.. to get to same loaction

OH DID I MENTION same quests in same location.. np go third time.. oh wait.. there is extra location in zone that takes eternity to get.. np go 4th time..

you ask what about turning in.. well since traveling back takes eternity.. quit and reload the game FOR FAST TRAVEL ..

oh did i said mines? i fucking hate mines.. always apear out of nowhere.. and keeps 1 shoting you.. jesus so fucking annoying

Holy hell it's not easy that's for sure. My character was only level 45, just barely under 46. The first dude I run into killed me in 2 seconds. Near the beginning too. Open the door. Oh, that's a nice poster. It's someone's little bang house. I wonder what's in this cabinet? BAM! Only way I could kill the bastard was to camp on the roof and plink his ass. Took me 20 minutes. He was level 61 and it got me about 10.7k for experience.

Those freakin' crimson assasins. Level 51 and they double lightsabered me in about the same amount of time as the first dude did. In a half hour I spent about 2 million in resurrection fees. Time to restart it on first playthrough instead of the second!

LOL this anti-cheat-protection is pure crap, one of the soldiers dropped an awesome weapon with 3x explosive, i grabbed it and i couldnt find it anywhere in my inventory. It seems like the cheat protection killed it lol

rofl , that gnome is 61 lvl too in first go.. hes probably there to rape you as its middle of nowhere Very Happy , assassins are super easy on first go.. tho im like 5 lvl higher.. so everything is bunch easer.. but exp blows Sad

Fell trough the floor right at the final moment of the DLC, turns out it's a glitch.
(There's some other areas that are also a bit hollow like one part of a bandit walkway over a bunch of debri, can't reach that chest, of course there are many other hidden chests instead like one above a ramp or one hidden in a remote house, burried underground or just out of reach until some platform appears and so on.)

Installed the razor release then copy/pasted the 3 DLC's.
Game starts without any problems. Awesome.

Still runs like shit though Sad

Urgh here's my install method (less messy)

1. Retail Razor
2. Copy DLC to appropriate folder. just the DLC1,2,3 folders inside your release of choice.
3. Patch 1.3
4. Copy just the cracked exe or use a mini image.

If you just copy the Reloaded Stuff you'll be forced tor rely on them for future patches.
