OK im gonna have to quit playing the BETA I really have wasted almost 48 hours solid, a huge headache, awesome game.. cant wait to see the final, fully balanced and bugfixed gold.
I managed to get an account. Am playing it right now. I haven't played the original so I can't compare, but this is insanely fun. A lot of 2v2 matches leave me so excited at the end that I am shaking. There's a lot of micro and a lot of macro involved. Balance is completely fucked up. For example, with Protoss I win most of my games by just spamming Zealots and Stalkers mindlessly and outproducing my enemy. No strategy involved, except to decide whether to tech to Carrier or Dark Templar. I haven't played Zerg or Terran yet, so I can't say how they are, but let me put it to you this way:
I have never played Starcraft before, and am very bad at Warcraft 3. Despite this I have played 10 games with Protoss and not lost a single one. Is everyone a noob or is Protoss imbalanced? You decide.
only want to say that there are people that has got key on their b-net account, and not few of all ! in my opinion(as i am watching on forums) about 1/5 of the sent invites are for random luckys! so i think all over the world is about 10k are in now!
Thats just lame, so basicly if u dont wanna waste hours at some nerdconvention but do other shit instead u get treated like an outsider now?

All the ppl at blizzcon '08 got betakeys to sc2.
Wave 1 of SC2 keys was alot of Blizzcon ppl, but also alot of Opt'ins.
And what ppl call Wave 1.5 that came yesterday'ish was just from what i can tell the rest of Blizzcon ppl. (but i have seen some saying they just opt'in, but who knows)
But there are more waves. Hopefully all the Blizzcon ppl have had their keys so the rest of us can have a chance!
