"You require permission from the computers admin to make changes to this file."
I cant even delete a file! Cmon. Glad I still dont pay for this stuff.

Why do I get so many prompts that I must had admin access! I am the admin! There is only one account for my PC and it already has admin access.

Unreal. How Do I grant myself "Admin Access" AGAIN?!?!? Which I apparanetely dont have.

*I clicked properties>Securty on this file. Now it says two seperate groups:
Admin
Nitemare (currently logged into)

However, when I go into user accounts, it says Nitemare (admin) .

So what the hell is going on? Im an admin in the control panel, but everywhere else Im not?

Now I can delete it. Did not change anything. So strange,. Yes, I was the owner too. There is only one owner, one account on my system. I already had UAC set to none (lowest setting). I dont know. Just another Windows bug. Even installing games it asks my I need admin permisiion. Who knows. Maybe Windows 8 will resolve this.

um
you have ADMIN ACCESS - you are NOT ADMIN yourself
meaning you get admin rights when you need it.. it's a bad idea to be admin always
just right click on explorer and choose 'run as administrator' and you should have access to all admin files now

There was no option to 'run as administrator' in explorer.
Under user accounts, there are 2 choices:
#1 Me (Admin)
#2 Guest

When I go to lock windows and click "Switch Users", it just goes right back to my name. It does not give me the option to pick "Administrator" or anyone else.

As said above, using Admin account isn't the brightest thing to do but if you insist you can either:

Drop to a command prompt with elevated privileges and enter: Net User Administrator /active:yes

Or right click on Computer, select manage, navigate to users and uncheck the disabled box next to the Administrator.

Either way, Admin logon will now be available.

I went to computers>manage>users> and now I see the following:
Administrator,Guest, Homegroup, ME

Administrator already has the box account disabled check. So it appears I am not using the admin account after all.

OK, Ill just leave all the settings as is. Thanks for all your help!
