Actually it is noticable that the game runs at a slightly lower res on the 360, but uses more AA to compensate and hence still looks great.
The difference in FMVs wont really be discernible for me, since I have a 40" 720p TV that isnt directly in front of my face.
In general, for all the people with 720p TVs it will hardly make any difference which version to get.

Now this doesn't necessarily contradict what they say (could just be sloppy journalism), but the maxconsole article is linking to a gallery which shows the doctored PS3/360 shots and claiming they aren't;

MGC count still at 12 same number ish as sonic and superstars v8 next challenge but two weeks away no console bundle pictures yet and thats how forza 3 hit so early were the 250gb and other bundles with the game nothing yet so just wait a litle we only got three new games today ONLY lol
Bad Company 2 is still to come
Lets hope that then FFXIII is soon after

Uhh NO. They "believe" they have the best version of the game BECAUSE of the image quality and resolution.

So it's not "in spite of" having the better resolution, it's because of.
Either way, it's all bullshit and only the stereotypical buttfucking PS3 loser fanboys are the ones even bothering to point it out. Typical arrogance, IMO. I couldn't care less if the 360 one is more "jagged" than the PS3, just as long as I get to play it.
Oh and the 360 version is 720p, just like the PS3 version.
