IGN review.
(Whatever that might entail with early reviews and various "deal" and so on, though that's mostly rumors as far as the official word about it is.)

A release is out from that Chinese warez board (ali213 something, "Netshow" responsible for several mini-image creations.)
15 GB on two full DVD's, probably Steam "archives" again so I've no idea if it's usable and I can't read Chinese either so i'll see what it does once downloaded.
(Public tracker cookie says "you slow like turtle in soup")
EDIT: Found the site and discussion topic about it, seems fully working.
(Severe logistics problems though, haha - http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/1761/123yo.png )

Keys aren't available yet though, only the preview and dev version are (And some DLC) and even for those the main data archive keys aren't available and it's doubtful they would work on these archives at all.

After the keys get leaked, you can unpack the sid files manually. And then use the scene cracked files.
Not worth the trouble, wait for a steamrip.

One TW game ago, i would have been sitting on the edge of my seat, eager to get my hands on some new 'stuff'.
This time however.. i just coulnd't care less. Maybe i will DL it and give it a spin, but E:TW was a turn-off of epic proportions as far as I'm concerned. Its not even just the broken promises, the fact that they are selling MP campaigns as something new and innovative - AGAIN - , even though they sold ETW with the same shit pisses me off bigtime. Plus i dont even like all the new campaign features they added.
Back in the days of shogun and MTW, that board game feel was more than enough for strategists. It kept the campaign part neat and simple and allowed you to focus on the battles. In fact, the TW game i like the most to date is MTW, the original.
Then they added the map with freely roaming heroes in RTW, and it was.. well.. okay, sort of. Made campaign game a little more complex, but still not that heavy on management. Micromanaging specialists on a huge map is a b*tch tho.
Then we got different settlement types in MTW2 adding unnecessary complexity to the game, not to mention the ridiculously unrealistic tearing down of a citadel to replace it with a city.
Finally, there came ETW, which added several extra building locations scattered on the map for each region, but no usable UI to help you find and/or manage these from one place, so you literally have to hunt for unused / upgradeable resources / villages. ETW is a micromanagement hell, and thats coming from someone who actually loves games where you can fiddle with stuff.
Ah well... sorry for my lil rant. I guess i'm still a little pissed off that CA broke my toy.
One little consolation is the fact, that SupCom2 is just around the corner. I just hope they do not break it like CA did with the TW series.

Yeah, I'd like the series to return to its root with emphasis on battles and not moving around diplomats and shit.
Shogun TW for the fucking win !
