don't wanna sound like the grinch I am but I always thought nfohump took a hard line against requesters, IMO alla these drongos asking for a crack every 5 minutes should be flicked for a while in the hope they may get the message.

I did that before asking the question. Installed the latest redist from ms website. Still I get the same error. |
Try obtaining the full directX redist, because I heard sometimes it is not complete. Try searching it on your game isos or something.

if that ain't a request I dunno what is and as we have seen about 57 zillion times in other threads, what starts off as a bit of semi serious foolin round the edges of tryin on a request for a crack/prog isn't considered that by kids coming through who take that shit to mean this is a place where it's 'cool' to ask for stuff.
Does it matter in the greater scheme of things? No of course not, but it does get tiresome once peeps beggin for vapourwarez and assholes postin malwarez clag up the joint.

How is it that when I rename avp.exe to bioshock.exe my performance almost doubles (framerate). WHY is it STILL required to rename .exe to enable crossfirex. I have a 4870x2 and the LATEST catalyst 10.2 drivers with the profiles.
Yet there is NO profile for AVP. ATI is gotta be the worse piece of shit company. Same goes for Risen which is what? 5 months old?. I have to rename it to crysis.exe, in order for the game to use crossfirex.
I think same shit goes for bioshock 2. AND you can't rename the exe since you have to run the game using launcher.

Yup. Got same message. Appears to be normal as Im playing the marine campaign now and runs fine. Im use the razor crack for steam file though. My saves do work fine.

Reloaded worked fine for me... I used the reloaded release (with the reloaded cracked executables) and the razor steam_api.dll file. Played the entire game.
I had the micro stutter / hitching issue but I was able to fix it by alt tabbing out of the game and setting affinity to CPU 0 only. I really didn't play the game in dx11 much (mostly some of the predator missions) so I don't really know how well it worked but I did notice with the razor cracked exe files I was missing a lot of sound effects. Not that I had all the sound effects with the Reloaded exe's but I did have significantly more sfx. I also did not rename my exe to anything since changing the affinity setting seemed to work fine for me.

Im still getting stuttering after setting affinity to CPU0 and also tried CPU1. Im NOT playing in DX11 mode (only got 8800GT card), with reloaded executeables and razor steam.dll.

i just installed razor, finished it with all 3, uninstall, no problems, no errors, i didnt played it in dx11, i didnt see a reason to give myself headake for a 2h campaign with each

OK, so this is a very abnormal month for me.
I bought Bioshock 2 at a midnight release because I had the week off to play it and where I was staying had satelite (fancy dial-up) connection. The graphics turned me off hard core till I finally got into it thanks to Sabin for pushing that the game didn't suXxor to high heaven, and I am enjoying it. I'm thinking I could give a rats ass about the MP but might try tomorrow now that I am home w/ the real connection back.
I then bought AvsP. HOLY Shnoikes! 2 Games legit in less than ten days. WTF is this world coming to? Hope I don't kick myself in the ass! It's installing now.
I also plan on grabbing BF:BC2 for the MP next week or whenever.
Grabbed a TB drive and a Fatal1ty X-Fi w/ XRam (that's a waste isn't it? Does anything actually support the memory game wise? I grabbed it on ebay for only 80 including shipping so I don't think I did so bad. Anybody else have experience with this card in either BS2, AvsP, or the BF:BC2 Beta? I know BF2 supported XRam and it was actually worth it from reviews.
I even got my hands on an X-Fi Extreme Music for 30 bucks for my son's recording PC so been a fun week for upgrades. Now I just need to RMA a stick of RAM and grab 4 more to make 8. Viva la Taxes! Jeez, I also bought Rise of Flight in the past 200ish days. What's this world coming to indeed? Gonna have to turn in my parrot and eyepatch for a GameStop Edge card... Eek!
BTW, Anyone know where I can get a Fatal1ty I/O upgrade bay for my new sound card? The one with the toslink (optical) connections TIA..

I'm actually at the second mission of marine, and then some strange fact occured. At first mission all works flawlessly but now I can't hear and audio diaries and think any dialog. Bug or wtf?!

Wondering whether or not I'd get her to the operating table on time, then when I did Weyland fucking everything up. That made the boss fight extremely satisfying when I shot him in the face.

I had the stuttering problem too (8800GT 512MB, X4200, 3 DDR). changing the resolution from 1920 to 1400x900 solved the problem for me. OK i know if u are playing on (like me) 24inch a resolution lower then 1920 is a big difference in gfx but in this game the amount of jagged edges and blurred screen is acceptable on 1400 lol.. properly because the game is dark and don’t have much detail lol! (i think i have to accept my system is not the newest anymore!)
Anyway,
Just finished the marine campagne, took me around 3 - 3.5 hours to complete (score from 7000). The game isn't that bad at all. OK it could be a lot of better, the animations are very bad. For example the way the weapon reloads looks like shit. And what about the controls, why can't i fucking duck and why do i have to use the 1,2,3 buttons to change from wep? These are small things but they affect the gameplay in a big way. It’s such a shame they didn’t take care of these little issues or how should I describe them?
Oh one more thing about the performance, sometimes I have big framedrops, but when I alt tab an return to game my framerate is back to normal. Just a little tip…

still haven't installed it lol. Anyway, so the RLD release has no save games ? now before i dl the whole thing again (proper) , all i need is the crack i guess ? Hopefully anyway lol ...
