I was hoping someone could help me with the install of this game....
I ran the installer (steam...) and it started fine. I created a folder in my C drive for the installation. Waited the nearly 20 min install (switching b/n DVD parts).
Install ended. I found the crack and copied the files....but I don't know where to paste them. The folder I created for the install has nothing in it. I did a search on my cpu and the game installed in the users/local/virtualstore/program files folder.
I went into that folder...and there are no files to overwrite with the crack ones. I went thru the redist folder and ever other one...no exe file to overwrite.
I then tried to paste the crack files into the main folder...but they won't run.
Really confused....I usually know what I am doing...but this one has me stumped and the NFO mentions nothing about it.
Any help is appreciated.

finished the game.
it's ok game, the first hour of the marines done preety nice and scary , but the rest is regular minus. it is nice that they mixed 3 points of view, but i woulden't pay for it and it was ok time killer for me, nothing more.

The 'ripped' 3.8GB iso, has ALL languages other then RU/EN ripped out & videos downsampled to 50%, and used Razors release as a starting point.

for those with sound issues did you try the 'fix' posted on this page ? ( lower default sound format )

You just quoted it, I have Razor's one.
Regarding solutions to this, I've tried everything posted about in forums, although my friend can hear all the dialogues and whatnot with the same release. I think I'll rather put it aside until crack for the patch comes out, even though I almost finished marine campaign.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.

I have one question? What is the main reason for stuttering? My specs are
AMD Phenom II X4 940BE
2 GB DDR2
ATI Radeon HD 4850, 512 MB
If I set textures above normal I got a lot of stutter. Does this happen because of lack of system RAM or lack of video RAM, or something third? I use 1920x1080 resolution.

videoram , and 2GB as main ram is minimum for games also these days.
get a 5770 1gb vapor x, non expensive upgrade

I am planning to upgrade my graphic card soon, but I am asking to know what to upgrade first, graphic or RAM. I don't have enough money to upgrade both in the same time so I have to find the reason for this incredible stutter problem.l

my god, everything working fine here
BUT gameplay, man
They are lucky I'm a huge alien and predator fan...
But purely seen as a shooter it sucks.
You can't even switch weapons with the mouse wheel for crying out loud....
had to set mouse sensitivity to the ma and it still is rather slow. It works, but mostly I set it even higher in other games...

I would say graphics in your case. Get a better card and use that. Sell off your older one and put it towards new RAM when you can save enough.
Do you have any shops near you that sell graphics cards? I would maybe go in and buy one, give it a try and if your happy keep it, if not just take it back and get a refund and then try the same with RAM. Maybe then also you could buy it online cheaper with the for knowledge that one of the two buy will be better.

Does anyone else have trouble when installing the RELOADED release? It gets to near the end then an error pops up saying "If you like the game then buy it" then the installation stops.

If you Dont have a DX11 card and you run the dx11 launcher it will default to DX10

WHen I try to run the dx11 version it just says d3d11.dll not found, obviously since I don't have dx11. So I'm still confused.

That's bizarre :\ You really shouldn't still be getting that error... well, you could try searching google for the EXACTY filename you're missing, then download the DLL and put it in the same folder as the AVP.exe file.
