Whenever I click reply to an email in Hotmail, it erases the message Im replying to. So I now can not look back to see what the original email said and my reply only contains my info.

I already checked the 'more options' settings in hotmail and cant find anything that would have turned this off.

Any advice on how to keep the email info saved and included in reply would be great!

Here it quotes the message when I select Reply, unless it has it blocked.

Are you sure the email isn't blocked ? For some emails it shows :
Quote:
This message has been blocked for your safety. Open message

and I have to select "Open message"

It was Firefox 3.6. I uninstalled it and went back to FF 3.5.7 and works fine now. It also works fine in IE8.

Thanks for your help.

Are you using windows 7 or XP. Im still using XP. Maybe OS issue? I also disabled all plugins for 3.6 and still it would not work. It works fine with all plugins in 3.5.7

I blame it on just poor quality of FF. I just had FF crash on another desktop. At times it uses high CPU and basically bringing my pcs to a halt. I just uninstalled FF on that one too and reinstalled 3.5.7. This time I unchecked automatic updating as I am not using their new releases/

I don't get it the only problem I have with FF are occasional freezes, but they last for few seconds and happen very rarely...

The plot thickens. I decided to uninstall "ESET.Smart.Security.Business.Edition.4.0" since it was not picking up most of trojans. I had to use Malwarebytes along with it. I installed "Avast.Professional.v4.8" and upgraded FF back to 3.6. Now Hotmail works fine. Unreal. So now it looks to be my Eset was screwing stuff up.. We'll see how long this lasts.

Well, I upgraded to Windows 7 and same problem. Hotmail does not keep the old messages when replying. I found out its a BUG in firefox 3.6. No solution yet.

You could try the latest build of Firefox (3.7 alpha 2 candidate)
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/

Or maybe the 3.6.2 candidate, unsure about 3.6.2 but 3.7 is stand-alone and will be installed as "Minefield" so it won't interfere with normal Firefox.
