The DX11 exe can indeed be started but the extra DX11 functionality can not be used, these are tesselation, shadows and AA.
EDIT: Those "scattered" blurred shadows that is, normal shadows of course work fine, bit of a refinement only.

Meh.. hope there will be an profile within the next forceware driver or an nhancer workaround.

What do you mean, why not? Or are you talking about non DX11 hardware?

The readme file states that you can start the DX11 exe (Launcher will even start it directly.) even on DX10 cards but it won't enable any DX11 features, those turned out to be tesselation effects of character models, shadow rendering tweaks (That effect seen in Call of Pripyat, better edges or how to describe it.) and anti-aliasing.
Of these tesselation is hardware dependant so it wouldn't work anyway, shadows are shader related to SM 5.0 so it also wouldn't work, AA however could have worked on DX10 cards if it's some sort of deferred renderer engine albeit they might have written their own shader based DX11 only solution instead, faster and perhaps also better looking but probably not comparable to say 8x MSAA with alpha sampling or such.
EDIT: Improved a bit, makes more sense now.

Crashed every time a level finished loading...both on DX9 and DX11.
I own a ATI HD5770 did anyone manage do play it? Using the Razor 1911 release btw...
