EDIT: (Was a bit slow.)

Doing what exactly, rushing to the hive and setting off the self-explode attack? Haha.
(Each campaign is about 6 - 9 hours from what I've read, supposedly there's these audio logs to collect as well and probably similar bonus objectvies for non-Marines as I doubt a Xenomorph and Predator are going to be interested in those, Xenomorhps supposedly has their own stuff to do and Predators most likely try to take trophies or something.)

You're right. What I've read was about a walkthrough that's already on youtube (PS3 Version) and this douchebag is simply rushing through the levels like he's on crack...
Guess that's one of those guys who's complaining all over the net afterwards how short the game was -.-

Xenomorphs have to destroy canisters of "Royal Jelly" and Predators have to collect "Trophy Masks"
The Marine campaign took me around 7hrs (probably a bit more, probably a bit less) so there's no reason to assume the other campaigns would be criminally shorter.

I understand collecting those ceremonial mask but what's up with the jelly?
Spoiler: |
Wasn't the extras to succesfully "facehug" assist on all civilians or something like that?
|
(Unless Royal Jelly = Alien Queen secrete or something.)
(Or perhaps they use it for the android guys, can those still take such a insane amount of damage btw, AvP 1 you could take both their arms of and it'd still try to kill you, annoying white filled tube guys.)
EDIT: Oh, it was, must be hell to milk that thing then.
(EDIT: Unless they scrape it off the fresh eggs or something, on a more serious note I kinda understand the obsession about "controlling" the queen and all from the previous games.)

Naw, just achievements and overall game score. You can safely ignore all the RJ or Masks if you want, but I STRONGLY suggest going out of your way for collecting the audio logs though (Marine campaign) as they flesh out what little story there is.

Ah ok, I'm going for them all too then. Just a little Q Sabin. How's the flamethrower now compared to the demo? Did they change something or is it still suicide to use it?

It's not suicide, it's just shite. Seriously bad weapon (hampered by hilariously poor hitboxes and invisible walls) I wasted ludicrous amounts of flamer fuel trying to fry Facehuggers, and the flames almost never touched them... they'd just "bounce" off the floor directly above the facehuggers. Annoying. Same trying to shoot the flamer through railings; your bullets go through just fine, but flames? Nope! Not happening, son!
Oh and if you set Aliens on fire, they still come running towards you screeching. If they get close and die; ba~boom, acid bomb instadeath.

The decryption keys are available again so that would be doable but getting it to work plus that it might keep files until release date (Download exe afterwards, that sort of thing.) or any other copy protection instead of just Steam would make things more complicated.

Game hits US stores today (It's like 6 AM morning over there or something now.) - for release tomorrow - and should be available for activation over Steam around midnight I guess and then some group could do a release although if someone did upload the ISO earlier it would save time if you only needed the missing files and a crack.

True, unsure how that EXE was obtained (Activation servers up earlier perhaps?) but this goes trough Steam and I doubt we'll see a early release if it's missing files.
If the ISO did leak we could use the keys to extract the data but it wouldn't do much if the main EXE was missing, if it was just Steam protected though we'd probably see a early release.

It was probably done so that Steam buyers wouldn't get the game sooner than those who intend to buy it in stores. Such an exclusive head start wouldn't reflect well on the packaged goods market, I'd imagine.
