Why that low score? Gameplay will be so bad? Or what:)? Sorry but i dont play on MULTI demo , and i must ask , what is graphic? Good? But in this demo , Dx 11 was not .So maybe this is reason . Hmmmm
I can say one thing,give me mouse control!
Can't stand gamepads in fps games...can't hit for shi*,especially those little facehuggers.
But the game itself,very atmospheric(marine),but nothing new for those who have played previous games.
So far it's been ok...but pc version ftw(imo). Just had to try it.
But one thing I do have to wonder. Rookie? My god,can't they think of a better callsign...give me a name ffs.
More screens, I guess anyone would fall for that shoulder tap trick, hah.
Also at the above stuff here's the DX11 video showing mainly tesselation but it has some other uses as well like for lighting and shadow rendering, as it is a ATI DX11 promo title like Dirt 2 I guess it'll be DX9/DX11 instead of also supporting DX10, not that there's much of a visual difference this time though.
Posted in the 360 thread too, but it may be relevant here depending on the quality of the PC version.

This, so far, is NOT a good game. I've been playing for just over an hour and it is NOT an enjoyable experience. I know I'm playing the 360 version, so controls are going to be shite regardless, so I'm not counting those in my opinion of the game - and that just leaves everything else;
Audio: 3/10.
Oh. My. God. What in the world is this shit I'm being forced to listen to? The voice acting is TERRIBLE! None of the VA have any emotion in their voice, no tone or inflection, it's just monotonous droning. Gun, and other, sound effects are hollow and have no presence at all. Hell, the only decent ambient audio I've heard so far is the motion tracker

Uh. This game DID come out recently didn't it? This isn't just an expansion pack to "Alien vs Predator 2" (released 9 YEARS ago) right? I seriously can't believe Rebellion put this out and said "We're proud of how it looks" because... just... wow. Again, could just be the 360 version - but everything is horrible!! I reset my 360 twice, checking the display settings to see if they'd reset or changed from my VGA/1280x1024 output... nope. Aliased to HELL and back, muggy and extremely low-resolution textures, horrible sprite-based particle effects, piss poor lighting and it's DARK. Very, very, very dark.
It's basically AVP2 with VERY little dynamic lighting restored from the first game.
Anachronism at its finest. Now don't get me wrong, I love a classic FPS as much as the next man.. but this feels like it was coded for the 90s. Aliens are slow, so painfully slow that they pose absolutely no threat whatsoever - I'm playing on Hard and I'm taking them down with pistols and not even breathing heavily, let alone breaking a sweat. This is on the joypad too which, I might add, has INSANE amounts of auto aim on. You pretty much lock to oncoming enemies. *sigh* There's just no atmosphere, or if there is it's a BAD atmosphere..
So far I'm extremely disappointed I'll keep playing while I wait for the PC version, but meh... not impressed. Maybe it's just the Marine campaign? I'll try the Alien and Predator ones shortly, see if that changes my opinion.

Yes, the graphics are absolutely appalling. MUCH worse than the PC demo.
