That looks good Epsilon, gonna reinstall this baby with that package.
Woah my framerate sticks @ 35/40 with this mod @ DX9, Max/High dont differ much, so does this HBAO thing. @ low
I dint apply the custom user.ltx file too it.
Before i was playing @ Win7 DX10.
So this mod is kinda heavy eh? I wont stop using it though it looks great.
Gonna try it in DX10

I dint notice anything bad either, with the german version that was. Very satisfying..
This package will take some of your performance also, i was running the same settings as before.
Resolution 1 touch down works well! from 1920x1080 to 1600x900, still looks badass, just a tiny lil bit of blur. (care)
Inside the ship from 30/35 fps, to 40/43 FPS, that was one huge jump.

@Yondaime: that's how the vanilla game looks, so I guess it didn't work for you. Vegetation density is low, LOD detail is low etc. I assume Epsilon used the Atmosfear mod, that works best in DX9 mode. Try that.

Make sure you also replace the fsgame.ltx with the one from the archive, as instructed in my original post. |

I can't order from play.com, they keep declining my orders. I suspect it's because I use my banks e-card service (I create a random temporary mastercard with a set amount of money) and they have some sort of block when a customer repeatedly changes card numbers. What's annoying is that they have NO way of contacting them online, no e-mail, no form to fill in, no nothing.

the Emissions look great with this mod, I also noticed something like that sunray? lightning effect in it too looked amazing.
That aint there in the vanilla game right?
and with these problems some guyz got, supposely got something to do with fsgame.ltx?
I was curious how it looked like @ dx 10, so i fired up win7 starting stalker,
but it refused to start, later the splash screen finally came up giving me some error the fsgame.ltx could not be located or something like that.
open that file, and look for $app_data_root$ (JBeckman theory)
at my win7 boot the path used for this was incorrect somehow, and the one including in the mod also used a different path of mine.
just make sure $game_data$ is set too true.
after some renaming etc, i got it too work by copying the fsgame.ltx file to the $app_data_root$ location.
So this mod worked @ dx9 & dx10 for me, i use XP for dx9 win7 dx10.
mayb something worth checking out, if it aint working for u.

I've noticed that running atmosfear in DX9 mode makes textures more blurry for some reason compared to vanilla in DX10.
Currently running:
Atmosfear 1.2
Stalker CoP Weapon Sound Overhaul
Improved Svarog Display
Going to switch to DX10 while keeping Atmosfear and see what happens.

The first time I ordered it (along with AVP )they declined my card.
Ended up ordering from amazon.co.uk instead, but they had problems with their stock and mailed me back with an estimated arrival date of March 04- March 19 (!).
Canceled it, made a new card and ordered it from Play.com again but it's been "Processing" since Monday.

Epsilon your mod is great ,am using everything inc your itx file(30 odd without the idx file) and getting 50 odd fps however if i put in the addons i get a crash every time even when trying to start a new game
any ideas
