Commandos Behind Enemy Lines & Beyond the call of duty AND Commandos Man of Courage was EASY games for me ..I was 11 yr old when i played Commandos 1 firstly and i loved it! ..no problem this games for me.
Difficult (but very good) game is Shadowman..

wtf shadowman was piss easy i completed that on my N64. and by impossible games ai mean they have endings but are really hard. i personally think 2 weeks to complete a really hard game isnt that long. unless u played it every day for a few hours straight then u just suck. games that hare "impossible with endings" are games like commandos 2. if u look on some new video sites they complete battle toads but they cheat, they use 40% speed or sumthin so its pretty easy. battle toads was an insanely hard game unless u used the slowmotion slider

Was battle toads that side scrolling beat-em-up for the snes. Because i found it impossible to get past the level where you're riding on that thing and have to jump over the walls.
Or have i got a completely different game?

No you have the right game in mind. But I think they're talking about the NES version. Still the SNES version was pretty hard.

Either it or old text games. I had a trilogy called Time & Magik in which the third game could simply kick my ass because it felt like it... I kept getting killed, dying of old age, going insane, etc, etc, etc...

Net hack is nutz-crackin hard. The last V8. HAhHAHAHA that game was freaking impossible. Damn mastertronic piece ' o ' crap. I could barely get past the first turn. Nobody beat that game. I remember being all excited to play it and then...... well mastertronic had lots of impossible games:

I'm a couple of missions past where I said now. I'm on the mission with Dubious. Getting bored of the game and will probably return it to Blockbuster soon and get another game. Either wait until Friday and get Spider-Man 2 or return it now and get Front Mission 4 then Friday get Spider-Man 2 (I'm on that Flip It Card btw).

Hardest Old Game: Battletoads (rumor says that just as you are about to beat the game you die instantly, who knows because I don't know anyone who has come close to beating it)
Hardest Modern Game: Halo (Legendary difficulty) (I'd say this difficulty is just a joke that was put in by a dev.)

HALO LMAO!!!!! what a n00b. that game AI just doesnt compare to arena games such as UT2k4. also i find some stealth games its pretty lame coz 1s where u need to hide in foliage or sumthin they can still see u. MGS and sc work very well but games such as BF:V dont.

Pocky & Rocky. DL a Snes emu and try that game, remember i tried for ever to beat that game back in the days..
Chaser on Hard is crazy aswell near the end.

hmm dunno if you guys played the original Ninja Gaiden, holy crap is that shiznit hard... I have a PDA and all the classic games on emulator, took me a while to beat Ninja Gaiden, and thats using save states. I seriously cant imagine beating it without savestates, too damn hard, but I love hard games, beating the original ninja gaiden I still felt was quite an accomplishment. Double Dragon 3 was pretty hard, I'm in the process of beating Zelda 2, been playing that on/off since it was released, I still have my gold cartridge from over a century ago, I just recently made it to the final palace. I love contras, I beat all them. Ghost and goblins was hard as hell, I'm on the final stage of that too. Basically all of the classic nes games I would say are the hardest I've played by far, I havent played any modern games that are as hard as the old nes ones, I never start playing games nowadays on medium anymore, because i usually try compensate because of how most modern games are, they really arent as challanging as they used to be.
Anyone else beat the original Ninja Gaiden? on nes?

I would say Civilization 3 on the hardest setting. Believe me...its IMPOSSIBLE! Even if oyu make your own map that benefits you extremely much, the computer will still be the one attacking AND defeating you after short time.

Space Tripper on hardest, never got past lvl 2 on that, also the other game from Pompom, Mutant Storm, is pretty much impossible for me mostly because of the variable difficulty setting, the longer you play without dying, the harder it gets. Pathetic highscore of 6,5 million on that one.
