Seems like some files of the new RtO are patching the whole game. There is a "Demo" campaign now and some other things. Someone encountered any problems after installing RtO?
(Of course I'm talking about the cracked RtO with the tool)

There's some stuff in DAO_PRC_CP_1_1.1 whereas the other archive just seems related to the main game module could be why.
(Those smaller archives seem to work as previews, Shale and Keep has those files as well and a larger one for the actual mod.)

I've seen reports in official Bioware forums that people without RtO stared getting that Forest location, where they are asked by duying guy to buy RoT (similar to shopkeeper in original game).
I guess the "offer" part (OCP_1) gets autodownloaded for legal users, which adds commercial for RtO.

It's all on the previous page although there's no pre-cracked version available yet.
(Just use the tool via command-line interface and type the key to decode it, change the requireauthorization=1 to 0 in the INI and it should work without any problems.)
I'll upload it later on.
EDIT: Here's the utility and a modified .bat file in the meantime, just place both in the C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\ folder and run the .bat, you can open it in notepad first if you are unsure about what it does.

I can't figure out whats going on, I installed the DLC, started a new game (never played it before) and seem to be getting owned at the part where you have to ignite the tower to signal some people to flank the dark something or other people (I think my location in the game is Ostagar)
How far into the game is that? I just started a new game but judging by a few walkthrough videos The Tower of Ishal being part17 of the video series....How the hell did I start a new game and end up that far into the game?
Can you not install the DLC and start over from the beginning? I guess I'll reinstall without the DLC

Well hell I looked around everywhere, found a few 2 handed swords, I reinstalled and ended up in the same place so I guess I was really just getting owned at the beginning of the game
Damn shame none of brewers trainers work for me or else I'd roll through it (then of course play through without)
Clearly no way I can get past that part

Wait a minute... I didn't have to use decrypters on all the others. I'm confused. Can someone please explain to me what I should do to get it working?

If you download original dazip files (found on bioware servers), you need decrypter.
If you download some warez scene release, you don't need decrypter (since they are already decrypted in advance).

I beat the game and uninstalled it, The end ruined it for it (though I will check out the EXP maybe and DA2 for sure) How can Morrigan just disappear? God damn it...I would've quit long ago if it wasn't for her or if some 30 year British smoker played her voice...
I knew it was going to happen from reading spoilers and the fact that she said she was leaving before I smashed her for the last time
I busted my ass trying to locate all the gifts for her, running all over the place finding mirrors, books, jewelry and got it in the ass at the end
Is there a cut scene right after you kill the archdemon? I saw my character run up and stab it, the explosion but after the loading screen I thought I saw the beginning of a cut scene then it just went right to the palace with Alistair talking, introducing me followed by me walking through those doors and seeing the end images and facts about what has happened since etc...
I feel like I missed a cut scene where Morrigan takes off or something?

perhaps theyll make some dlc where you can go find her and stay with her... or, and this is just my preference, if you can slit the bitch top to bottom and wear her skin as a fashionable cape.

Remember Morrigan is a shapeshifter. She can easily disappear...

the decryptator does not seem to work for me. you still get impossible to load area. seem there is still some sort of protection that the decryptator does not fix. i tried the version posted by Jbeckman some page before with the last 1.02 patch

precracked RtO 1.1.1 was made available few hours after it was released by bioware. maybe it just didn't spread that well to public places
