I had the same problem 3 or 4 times. The last time it happened, Windows flashed a low-memory error at me. Perhaps it eats Paging File memory for breakfast? Try restarted your pc?

This is why the beta is only around 30 days long - some people will actually get sick of playing it and judge it as the retail version - and not even buy it - this is why the pre-order for beta access exists.
All you peeps that cancel your pre-order once you got your beta key that is just wrong. If your that damn impatient go watch the trailers and wait 30 days to pirate the game, then make your judgement. Remember if you like it buy it, rule of thumb?

easy solution for the companies :
when you have an offer like this, with beta access , charge 5 bucks ahead which are not refundable but will be reduced from price of the game.
Guy cancels preorder, he keeps code but loses 5 bucks.

hardcore is where its at. I played this since the demo got released and wasnt too bothered ir ipressed at all, but fuck me! hardcore gameplay is how normal gameplay should be

Amen. It's cool, tho I wouldn't mind a little bit (just a little bit) slower gameplay in hc overall.
Have they announced anything about the modtools? Or will there be none?

Pretty fucking awesome once you relinquish all memories of previous Battlefield titles on PC. I hope they release an SDK because the mod community will have a field day with this.
Too bad it still has the same shitty server browser that its always had. Seriously, when the hell are they going to build a server browser that is worth a shit? I know the console is king right now, but did they really have to remove the ability to go prone? Ill get used to it but it still pisses me off.
Great atmosphere though. The graphics are jaw-dropping, assuming you have the rig to run it. The sound however is what really takes the cake here. Authentic sampling, effective surround landscape and some amazing doppler effects. Really hitting on all cylinders for the visuals and audio.
its just the absence of a health bar, or the regenerating health bar (depending on how you look at it, the absence of prone ability, absence of squad commands and the like and the simplification of other systems that ARE still there that kind of leave me on the fence on this one right now. I have to admit though, its pretty goddamn fun when you team up with some friends or find a good squad. Ok, back to killing!

Everything you dislike are my personal favorite traits of this game. A faster more fluid game experience that can be enhanced with ventrilo and clan gaming.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!
