Yup, it looks really good...
And this time it's a REAL splinter cell (I mean not done by the chinese ubi soft studio like pandora tomorrow), so we can expect something awesome.
Oh, and btw here are some old shots I took of HL2...these textures are cool arent they?

About "EMF Vision"...
Anyone found it usefull?
Not sure what exactly it is...
You can see electric wires, but what's the point... Maybe it will be usefull in other missions...
What do you think about it?

Now I understand, but it still looks more like a gadget...

It picks op electronic equipment. Imagine.... a hidden bomb somewhere in the room, well the EMF vision would help you find it. |

Damn, this game is so fucking heavy, first game where i have lagged in since i bought my 6800 GT in summer 2004.
As for graphics, this is the most beautiful game i have ever seen in my life, in my opinion..... it far exceeds HL2 and D3.

Can't wait to try it though.
Still, I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts on the gameplay itself.
Are the missions still linear walkthroughs?

gfx are best ever in a game I think
playing in 1280 x 1024 with full aa and full af and pixel shader 3
with high definition rendering and all the stuff!!!

Do i detect sarcasm?
Btw, AF and AA turned off or on, it doesn't matter, there is no performance loss with the 6800 with it turned on. I am lagging coz i have a crappy proc. I am not talking about heavy lag though, I mean I am playing with every possible setting to the max, and it runs fluently, just when i turn the camera and such, it turns really slow, especially when I am aiming to shoot, but it's highly playable, laggy was the wrong word. |

HEH! I found this website link while analyzing a computer in the demo. http://www.littlechiquita.com/ if you click view source you see it has references to splinter cell 3 or w/e.. someone smarter could find out what this easteregg means

I'm what you call a punk, a spoiled one. I got the BT thing and I dunno shit, i don't know how BT works, my friend DLed it, put it on his FTP and I DLed it from there. I only DL from FTPs and Stro's. If I can't get it from them, I don't DL at all. |

No use for changing nothing. Me got 1 MB cahce and 1GB ddr, 6800GT 256MB - once shader 3.0 is on - FPS goes down, bummer...I just got this V.card...

Yeah Shader 3.0 is totaly useless, I tried it in Riddick too, I get like 10 FPS or so, same in this demo.
I think the perfomance is good (shader 1.1) but the mouse movements are very sluggish, I even disabled AF/FSAA and tried lowering textures/shadows but nope, the mouse controll is still very bad. I have 6800GT, P4 3.2Ghz, 1GB DDR..

I think they didn't optimize the game 100%, I'm sure the final will be better. Vurt i have the same shit you have everything runs ok but the mouse is sluggish, It always is. The final will be better I am sure.
