Shit. Could that person have made their FemShep look any worse? She *looks* like she'd prefer a woman over a man....

Does Mass.Effect.2.DLC-ARM requires an internet connection while installing?
And wtf does "Copy Mass Effect 2 directory to your windows profile \Your User\My Documents\BioWare" mean at the end of NFO?

It referes to the user folder for settings and savegame information or in this case the INI file that the game uses for authorization of the DLC.
( C:\Users\UserName\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\ )

To those having AUTHORIZATION problems with the dlc's this fixes it!

Mass.Effect.2.ADDONS.DLC.PC

Install all the .exe files, then copy "giveme2entitlements.exe" in ME2 DLC folder and run it, when asked confirm overwrite.

If you have a legit copy of ME2 DO NOT LOG INTO THE CERBERUS NETWORK.

DLC folder is located in \Mass Effect 2BioGameDLC

Wink

@A-A

Welcome to last week. Smile
That EXE file and a v2 were posted here long before they showed up on "releases". A lot of people have problems using that EXE file, however, because it sometimes doesn't choose the appropriate adapter.
I have created a better one, by modifying the code of the EXE. Link is in my sig.

but it's probably a thousand pages away
anyone care to tell me?
google didn't give any results

After loading the game change its affinity to 1st cpu only, press OK, then change it to all. Then the loadings are much shorter especially inside the Normandy.

It saved me.

I guess a core gets "stuck" ? lol, betatest MOAR

Yeah, a pretty nasty bug that was. Luckily, as you said, just quickly changing the affinity to one core and back again fixes it =)

1. Yes. Any missions you haven't done, you can go complete them once the main game is finished.
2. It works for some, but due to the network adaptor glitch, not all. Just grab the ARM DLC pack and use Leo's updated fix from his sig.
3. Part of Samara's loyalty quest.

Did you change the difficulty level in-game.
(Have to start on insanity and not change it during the playtrough.)

It is interesting, I played my first playthrought with a Vanguard character on the one after the regular difficulty. Now I'm playing with a Sentinel character on the difficulty before the last, and it feels a lot easier. I fell for the launch ability of the Vanguard in the trailer, but I ended up only using the shockwave. Now I am happy with tech armor and all the armor depleting abilities of the Sentinel. Very Happy

I hear Engineers can put some sort of Geth armor? Confused

Yeah I know, I even set the difficulty before starting playing, weird ;/

On normal difficulty is way too easy, u dont even have to use medigel. If you really want to enjoy this game insanity is the way to go.

Got the Geth Pulse Rifle finally. You "have to" set your game difficulty at minimum to hardcore, and to do the tali recruit mission. In the last room, where you finally meet tali again, you're able to obtain it of an dead geth.

You have to set it at the start of the game or just before that mission?

On that mission, there is a conflict between the admirals in her trial revolving around a possible attack on the Geth. Before going to the ship to find her father, speak to all the admirals. Tali herself also speaks about this when you go to her in between missions (each character has something to say about himself and his story after each mission).

Since you recruited her late, you will probably have to keep talking to her after the suicide mission.
