As attacker: For the first two spots the engineer is useless anyway. You're the ones who got the tanks at this point. Go Recon (with mortar, blow the house with the spot in it to pieces) or (the better choise) go Assault or Medic.
At the second base point, go engineer and blow their tanks to hell. Now it becomes usefull. Same for the third.
Last base it's medic/assault again. |
This is not the only game mode in the retail. When faced with enemy you should at least have a chance to defend you self. Those engineer guns make me want to select pistols as a main weapon  Medic got old support class guns, support was named assault and got it's guns, sniper stayed the same and engineer got nothing.. Give engineer old medic class gun, I'll take Voss L-AR or BAU-R gladly

I think the gun list is final, you just can't unlock the last guns. Cool idea that repairdrillthingy. I've made couple holes with it, but didn't come to mind it could be used as offensive weapon as well. Nice that it can, medics have had their pad kills for a while now.

max rank is 11
you have ~3 weapon and specialisation unlocks per class and 10 general specialisation unlocks, everything else is locked (requires 10,000,000 more exp than normal)

will i be able to continue with my rank when i buy the full game?
btw i really like the game.i don't like snow maps much,but i got into it.RUSH mode is really interesting as both sides.Got lower fps like 25max on the battlefield,clocked my cpu to 2.4GHz and now it's like +10fps sometimes.The game really is up to the cpu,maybe 60% or so is only from cpu,other is ram and gpu.

Not sure if this has been posted, but this made for me sick increase in FPS, seems that there is glitch that game doesnt support Quad cored properly, make shortcut from exe and put in there
+fullproc
Yay silky smooth now :>

Of course only key's are somehow flagged.
Server are not. Simple.. I cannot play on ANY server with my us key.
I live in EU.

Im loving this game more and more every minute. Because it is a contender with MW2 then ill must say this tops it by a long shot. MW2 is more IN YOUR FACE type of battles with few people. This on the other hand is huge scale battles with fighting going on in different parts of the map. And dont forget the destruction. Hard to go back to a game where i cant pull down a house ontop of my enemies. Had one moment where i spawned in the very beginning and others where miles ahead and i had to walk all the way from the beginning through the destroyed landscape and i must say it looked alot different than in the beginning giving that real feeling that a huge battle was fought here with tanks and so on. Cause this IS BETA then there are some minor issues but really this game is superior in every way compared to MW2. Im pretty sure im gonna cash out when final product is released. DICE has created a masterpiece in my mind.

indeed.i got mw2 original and i'm pretty sure i'll play bc2 more than it.definitely buying the full game,maybe will preorder it,we'll see.

Finnally made my PC stable with this game by lowering 800MHz DDR2 clocks from 1056MHz -> 781MHz. Now I can enjoy this damn good game which makes MW2 feel like retarded.

There's no guarantee you'll get a FPS increase, only Breezer_ here has had it so...

I positively DETEST having to pump an entire clip into someone, reloading, then doing it AGAIN (getting hit indicators every single time) and yet they STILL live and STILL manage to kill me with two pistol shots! Don't tell me it's because it's a "beta" - because this shit happened in BFBC1 too. It wasn't even lag this time, I was playing on a server with a ping of 44ms.
