What program can I use to stream media to my PS3?

stream? i thing ps3video9 or TVersity does it but ive never used it on my PS3 personally, dont see the point in streaming. why have 2 systems running when u can play hd perfectly on just the ps3?

Well because its much faster. Used TVersity on the 360 earlier, works like a charm.

I tried PS3 Media Server last night but the program never detects my PS3. I used to use TVersity for my x360 and it used to work nicely so Il give that a try I guess

PMS3 works for my PS3 and for my XBOX. . .however MKV files are it's weakness, as well as streaming. TVersity just needs a refresh on the computer to update your files, but PMS will auto find items, it just moves VERY slowly. If you have a shitload of files in a single folder, it can take quite a long time for PMS to find them all.

I have yet to find a consistent MKV solution though, that plays ALL MKV files.

I dont even know why I still have this PS3. I was supposed to have sold it weeks ago since Im broke but Ive just been too lazy to do it..
