You could buy a space hamster in the Citadel. I couldn't bring myself to buy one, cause I was afraid it would share the fate of my fish
But I barely resisted that knowing smile...
Also, on a second playthrough.. I didn't have fish anymore. I guess the game figured I wasn't good enough and spared them from starvation. And if the all knowing BioWare thinks I am not good for it, who am I do buy new ones?
I remember coming back after those 2 missions, doing the standard run around of Normandy, talking to the crew. Then went into the elevator, figured I'd check my cabin to place the ships... and then it hit me.."Oh no!! The fish!! *facepalm*". I thought they were alive at first, but my relief soon turned to terror
If BioWare keeps this up,in ME3 I might return to find Normandy torched, because I forgot to turn off the stove on the way out...
Edit: yea, that monkey punch was totally random, cracked me up.
just imagine the hilarity of having a puppy on the ship.... ahh the dialog options involving chewed clothing, leg humping, and dog shit everywhere
It would probably just be hanging out at the AI core, stealing her RAM..no wait..that's a cat thing...
I am more concerned for Shepard's Renegade image, when his cabin is filled with hamsters, puppies and other furry non-combatants. Although dog shit and leg humping might make up for that...
So I finally beat the game after 40 hours. Loved it and cannot wait for ME3.
A question tho:
Spoiler:
On the suicide mission, is it possible for EVERYONE to survive? Two of my squad died. Tali died first because I sent her in the vents and she got head shoted. And Zaeed died second after I made him ground leader or something. So is there anyway to have everyone live?

For me I used Legion for vents, Jacob 1st team leader and garrus for the 2nd team leader, Samara for shields and thane to escort the normandy crew back to the ship and only jack died because she wasnt loyal
Spoiler:
For me it was Tali vents, Mordin 1st team(Maybe that's why?) , Zaeed was second leader(died) , Morinth for shields and Jacob as escort.

Could very well be because of Mordin. Tali's more than qualified if she's loyal.
Spoiler:
From what I understand, team leader can't die on this one, but if you make a wrong choice, the hacker will die. That explains why Mordin died for me as the hacker I guess. I chose Jack as the leader to try to screw things up and he was the one to pay for that, not her
regarding the miniature giant space hamster that you can buy, there is another minsc reference: if you choose the offensive drone (not the explosive combat drone) upgrade for tali, when she summons it she tells it to 'go for the optics'

Spoiler:
Had the good Doctor dying on me on my first run.
Then, tried it with:
- Tali at the vent shafts, Garrus as the diversion and Grunt and Legion in my squad.
- The Doctor escorting the crew to the ship, Jack as the biotic, Garrus as the 2nd team leader, Grunt and Legion in my squad.
- Tali and Garrus for the final battle.
Everybody survived and Garrus kicks ass.

Whats the singe core fix? Is it a fix that fixes load times? because I always have to go to task manger and set affinity and disable CPU1, load game and then re enable CPU1.
