Even lowering my cpu clocks from 3,52GHz -> 3GHz didn't helped avoid that damn freezing. Sad

Well you can change aim sensitivity in a general way, but there is nothing to specifically change sniper sensitivity. In the full game you unlock superior scopes for the sniper rifle with experience points, but I don't know if they're any easier to use.

I know that, the problem is that the sensitivity I like to use while running around and using regular weapons doesn't work very well while using a sniper. I'm kinda baffled by the fact that they did not add some kind of a zoom sensitivity setting, totally ruined the recon class for me.

It's a fun game but it's really infuriating how you can empty a whole magazine from your assault rifle into some dude's face yet he drops you with 2-3 shots from a handgun.

Earlier today I was 1 on 1 with a sniper, I had the XM8, I emptied a whole mag, every bullet hit him, then finished it off with a 40mm grenade which hit him in the chest and he survived and killed me with his freaking sidearm.

All of that and his health bar showed 12/100.

Weaksauce weapons, even weapons mounted on armor, such as the Bradley or even the main gun on a MBT are weak.

Meh. Sad

New mouse with sensitivity buttons? (as far as I know there haven't been ever any zoom sensitivity setting in BF games)

I'm still with the default sniper, so don't know how fast the snipers go. I get killed plenty with snipers, can't be too hard Smile

Yeah lag is a big part of it but it's also intentional because they did include unlocks such as heavier bullets that do more damage. Very Happy

The beta will run until the 25th so hopefully they'll improve performance.

Now if only the damn server browser would work.

Works for my friends but not for me, it just hangs there. Evil or Very Mad

Well then there is no problem, that's what people do. But I get what you mean, I got bored of pressing dpi down and just got used to the faster movement.

Whole point of it would be to make it realistic/more hard to hit. I mean there is way too little scope sway and snipers kill too far already. If it had even lower sensitivity it would be 100% sniperfest. Had a couple of those rounds already, even joined the action as no-one did anything.

I used to do that in mounted weapons. Might have to start using it again tank turret sure is slow, but haven't really played with vehicles that much so far. (or checked option if there is vehicle sensitivity)

I suppose it makes it much more harder & realistic (if you get what i mean),As if you aim with the sniper on BF2 at someone quite a distance away if the sensitivity is high one slight movement on the mouse & youve lost your target whichi suppose is much more realistic than say modern warfare where you can click a button when in sniper mode & it goes into a slow movement so you can easily target your enemy this to me although makes sniping very easy is very unrealistic,
Sniping on battlefield does take more skill.
I personally use engineer class but must admit when defending on the first base I love counter sniping all the snipers camping up on the hill behind the rock,due to the distance involved & how harder it is to snipe it makes it very satisfying when you get a headshot
