Shit I forgot about those games, I'll be buying 4 of those, import prices in Thailand is gonna cost me too ........ ...... Luckily Bad Company 2 is on the 360 so I can get that for 2 quid.
The PS3 already has many exclusives in production that are either nearing release, recently announced or currently flying under the radar unannounced. The sales of the aforementioned games won't change that - especially since Sony is relying on the software to break even.
...but I don't think it will be as big a seller as some PS3 users seem to believe (if that's where the comment came from, as a response to the euphoria you can find on other forums populated by more PS3 users) anyway.
I've got the demo almost 3 months ago...its pretty cool and weighs like 2 gig. It's the exact same thing that was shown in the latest E3. By now I actually thought the demo would be out for the masses...

Hmmm..it's actually been a while since I played the demo and it was on my brother's ps3 who now says he might have reached his limit of sharing.
Is there a date on when the demo is going public yet ?

Trailer wasn't as well made as the old teaser trailer, but in this one at least we saw some new stuff. Looks amazing... but I've still yet to play the originals so I'm in no rush.
I just bought GOW Collection with GOW1 and GOW2 for $29.99. Never played GOW1 or GOW2 on the PS2. But I must beat Demon's Souls first. I have time to play 1 and 2 before 3 comes out. The race is on! LOL!

Did Sony ever actually promise that God of War III would be 1080p?
I also find this revelation to be rather anti-climatic since for a long, long time now I've somehow known it's 720p and not 60fps in advance? I can't have just assumed it either since I can go on neoGAF and people there are discussing it as though it were common knowledge as well. Still, can't say it surprises me either and since most of the graphically demanding action games on the PS3 are 720p and not 60fps it's hardly earth shattering news that threatens to destroy the very fabric of time. At the end of the day it's not resolution that matters, it's what you do with it - and anyone who's seen the latest videos knows it's going to look absolutely amazing regardless.
Got the collection in today with the E3 demo and must say it blowed me away, the first 2 games look really amazing also, cant wait to play GoW 3 but right now I`m enjoying the first 2
