Is it still F2P, just buying the client, or is it a P2P game?

Both - F2P with client, but missing certain agency v agency elements like controlling your own city type thing. You get that with monthly sub.

Cool, I might check it out then. Thanks Phluxed =)

=Edit=

Here's the info for anyone (like myself) looking to find out the differences between F2P and P2P.

Np, I highly recommend it. The UI isn't the nicest in the world, but the graphics are just so fluid and beautiful.

The gameplay is so fast paced now, and I don't find it old ever. There are so many variations to PVP, its great. The PVE could use some more content, but I think they have a bunch of unreleased content to be played.

I'm not really much of a PvP player (though this being an FPS obviously changes things, PVP is essential in an FPS) so I might just grab the client for PVE once I can afford it.

you can refund it using the support page of steam on their website..
its only possible to refund if the game is still in a pre-order status

Anyone playing this? If I get the gist of it it's kinda like TF2 with PvE, loot, and some levelling and speccing your character added in for good measure. Also the big picture PvP thing if you're willing to shell out monthly. I'm liking at the idea, but very unsure about if it actually works well, and since there are not trials or demos it's impossible to test it... So, anyone willing/able to give out their impression of the finished game?

I'm playing this since yesterday, the free trial. Cool game, but I wanted to ask : Is there anything else to do except these randomly generated missions ?

It gets boring after a while and I'm too low level to do pvp, I also don't know anyone ingame to create a party etc.

Are there no other missions or stuff to do ?

I'm really ashamed I bought this, because this wasn't that much fun, and hardly anyone was on?

There's no persistant world either Sad Why can't I have hellgate london or pre-beta tabula rasa?

There are no subs now.... gonna buy it on Steam at some stage in the sale. It's 33% off atm but who knows? They might even knock a bit more off in a one-dayer...

Not yet there isn't.

They're releasing Phase 2 of the free Sandstorm expansion some time this summer. It will include 10-man PvE raids and 40-man freeroaming in the desert.

Sooo, about this free trial.. It's just.. a trial ?

Not a free to play portion of the game like in some mmos who have f2p part as well (which you can play as long as you wish but have access to mostly basic quests & zones) ? Or just a trial, like Wow, Conan etc ?

No idea what you're talking about.

The trial lets you play for as long as you like, but there's a level limit of 15 and you can't enter the high-level PvE stuff, can't join Agencies and such.

Tried it for a bit, is there at first only 2 - 3 missions to repeat till you're level 10? Seems like this might get old fast or maybe i'm just missing something.

PvP and AvA is where most of the game's at. Soon enough we'll also have 10-player PvE raids, and 40-man freeroam sessions.

Shit will be cool.

The open-world patch will also be out very soon, it's already up on the public test servers. It's pretty cool tbh, definately a nice addition to the game.
