Alright, played a bit, gameplay does seem a bit laggy, also the game does not seem to save any stats yet. I'll just go back to studying for now, maybe things will be better tomorrow.

Menu interface is bad, console-ish. But game is ok, still have the old battlefield feeling. Also servers are laggy atm, an friends list doesn't work either.

The GFX are probably limited so the game would fit into that 1.5 GB download,perhaps the high res textures have been left out

But there is couple of things...
1.NO ping info in the game
2.atm lagg when people joins

There is no prone and lean? o.O Also you can't sort in server browser? What were they dumb, or is it due to being only "beta" ?

The server browser has been simplified to the beta, yes. There's a whole list of things that wont look like the full version according to their blog.

Where did they say that? All i read was bc2 doesn't have prone in any version and adding it for the sake of PC gamers will unbalance the game in favour of snipers etc.

CD Keys just went up. If you don't see them,re-start Steam and you should then have the "View game CD Key" option when right clicking the game in the My Games tab.

Yes, they said in the blog: The Beta is happening for many reasons, like testing the infrastructure, hosting stability, and gameplay tuning (FOV, Weapon Balance, etc...)
If there is a low FOV like in MW2 and other games recently, report it as a bug. They need to know that FPS games, especially on a wide screen need a high fov, none of this 75 bullshit.
