Actually no didn't need to Jtagging before dump. Nand can be dumped without Jtag. Jtag is only for running UN-singed code. Other wise you can not Uncripple your 360 from recent ban. Wink and no black magic can't do this. Its a bunch of hackers.

huh!! You need t solder the LPT cable and connect it to PC then use nand pro to dump the nand. connecting LPT is not Jtag. Laughing

yup that's sadly true, only way around that is via usb. oh and you can take those 16 hours times three cause you need to compare the nand dumps Wink

Right guy's, got myself a jtagable console and because i no soldering experience ( and i don't trust myself!) I'm gonna send it to one of the trader's on xbox-scene.
Now he said he'll install the jtag and only xbreboot - how do i go about installing more things?

My main goal is to run the games from an external HDD and play the arcade games etc...

Do i need a special kind of HDD or will my Western Digital 500gb work?

I read on xbox-scene that dumping 70megabytes is enough, is that right? Did you dump 256/512 nands? And for usb I need this => LPC2148 header board?

don't know about that, but as long as you don't get any read errors, why not take the time and go the safe route? and the header board is the right one, but imo it only pays off if you plan on flashing multiple jaspers

you have DVDROM, Xbox HDD (any size), then 0 , 1 and 2 USB ports. USB can be memory stick or external USB HDD

does anyone know where you can buy pre-flashed 360s from? Ive just sold my 6th console.... first 3 I had where flashed but since you cant flash them with imac I would like to buy one done already Smile (in the EU only pls)

I manage to find a place in my country that I can buy already Jtaged 360 Very Happy

now my question is this:
I've been told that I can run stuff from external hard Drive and Disc on keys. now,I have 40GB I river player that I didn't use for long time... the console is not coming with any hard drive,but can be bought separately.
can I use my player as an "hard drive"?,40 GB is enough for me.
