Screenshotting working for anyone? Print screen brings up a black screen and there doesn't seem to be any hotkeys for it.

Anyway been playing like 5 hours so far I think, and I'm just loving the game. I'm still getting used to some of the changes but I can't say any have been gamebreaking for me.

Holy lol at the video game store in the Citadel. Guy was talking about malfunctioning copy protection letting you download the game for free. Laughing

Edit: Oh god this guy is hilarious. Now he just said "They don't make roleplaying games like they used to. Now it's all about "big choices" and "visceral combat". I miss the good old days where you had to drink water and it took 5 real time hours to fly somewhere."

You need the latest version of FRAPS at all times, a new security measure by EvenBalance due to hackers using FRAPS (and even XFire) to hack, rather than hacking the game hooks themselves.

Oh and spoiler for those doing the "Archangel" mission;

That's the best thing; all the trailers JUST mentioned code names - they never specifically mentioned NAMES Very Happy

Oh and this made me LOL;

"Shepard: My Skyllian-5 is a bit rusty, go easy on the rookie alright?"
"Donelly: Of course Commander, it's all friendly"
<<You won 500 credits at Skyllian-5>>
"Donelly: "Go easy on the rookie" I can't believe I fell for that... beaten at my own game"

It's Bioware. You will like this game and finish it more than once. Resistance is futile.

Gotta say, despite the gameplay mechanics being a sore point for me, the audio and story is pure gold. Just like the first one.

Can't remember, if you choose a renegade option does it take away from paragon?

I've always hated the dual good/bad answers. Sometimes paragon answers are douchebag-lame, sometimes renegade options are just trolling the NPC for the fuck of it. I know it's just an effing game but I cringe when I pick a goddamn idiot answer.

Nah, no subtraction from the opposing pool mate. However, in THIS version; Renegade isn't always a bad thing Wink

Don't open this unless you've recruited Archangel, or are currently on the way to get him;

i'm thinking windows 7 needs fresh install, i did change mobo without reinstalling it

ok after disabling one core>reloading save and enabling 2nd core back it loads fast, i'm really confused about this shit

I am having the same loading issue, really kills the game when I have to wait over a minute for some things to load. Original Mass Effect was very fast for me. Besides that its running great.

The long ass load times I have are in the ship, sometimes takes over 30 seconds between levels... other than that load times aren't noticeable.

Really loving the game now, after the initial getting used to controls and other nitpicks. Except I wish I could cheat so I don't have to refuel or buy more probes. Damn that's annoying... but less annoying than 90% of the side missions in ME1 Wink

You can use existing savegames if they match your playtrough style good enough, this link was posted earlier though it probably won't be exactly how you would choose to play trough the game.

EDIT: Example "paragon" based import at level 60

(Minus the details for being rich which is +10000 or so credits if I remember correctly.)

It's probably a good idea since it's a direct sequel, but not required. Might want to read the plot info on wiki or something first if you just want to play ME2.

Game got a 9.6 on ign...

Well just completed it all, including side missions, 20hours game play... AWESOME game, not much more to add, wont spoil it for anyone, just enjoy...

Starting play through 2 now...

Did anyone notice the Tip for Saves for ME 3, Did chuckle a little at that when i saw, games hot of the presses and ME3 already being touted in game.

20 hours gameplay? God damn that's about shorter than the first one which was my major gripe with the first game.

Also Miranda. FUCKING BUGS BUNNY TEETH.
