nope, it goes back one round. So if you die in round 5 you start in 4.

DLC1: Reloaded

I think is better to continue with Reloaded with DLC2. I will get that.

Can you still use co-op with Reloaded DLC?

Weird that Razor1911 released just Mad Moxxis DLC.

Can using the DLC2 files from the reloaded release get you banned on Steam you think? It works, but I question if they may add some sort of check system in down the road. Doubt it, but you never know.

I am stuck in the Sledge Safehouse section where I need to collect a key and repair a robot.
My weapons seem very under powered and only slightly chew at the enemy.
My level is 10 atm and I put all my points in BloodWing.

Should I head back out and wait to level a bit more?

thanks in advance

Sledge is one of the first proper bosses so the encounter can be a bit tough, do some sidequests if you have any left in the area or just farm stronger enemies for money and the occasional weapon drop, as you are level 10 you can also enter the DLC areas though they do scale with your level and progress though it doesn't matter much for the first playtrough. (For second playtrough if you want the best you will want to wait until you have beaten the game so you get the highest level equipment possible.)

the 2nd dlc sounds like fun. i haven't played the first dlc yet. Sad i've been busy re-playing deus ex 1 with a dx11 driver (at 2560x1600), widescreen fov fix, ui scaled properly (i.e. small not cover huge part of screen), and enhanced texture pack. Very Happy

it is fun, but very hard imo. This is silly that if you die you need to play one round back again.

Well, thanks for the advice, I seem to be able to defeat pretty much everything but the Boss (the pycho's are hard going too)
I need to level a bit and get some better weapons inc that launcher.
Remember I am limited to lvl 10 hardware...Sad
While nades are effective I cannot carry enough, still the game is easier than the 360 version by a LOT (thats why i was able to succeed at 'tough' and 'impossible' quests because I'd played the game before.

I find the sound and controls (duh) superior but don't find the much higher rez too noticeable which seems strange......

He's not the boss though. He's just the guardian of the key Smile

I need to get this going again - for some reason playing single player just isn't that fun for me, and all my buddies beat this in a weekend so i got left behind in the dust. Still only level 18 and after playing with friends most of those levels it does feel empty and boring. However, prior to co-oping it was super fun!

Well you could go the RLD route and get their release of Zombie Island (1.01) and then their Mad Moxxis which includes 1.02.

But for the record, I was able to connect to gamespy just fine with version 1.0. So unless they changed something since about a week and half ago, sounds like your gamespy issue is something else.

Patch 1.21 is out.

Anyone know of a working mini-image or no-dvd?

I hate using discs and I prefer mini-images.

Thanks in advance.

Changelog and details, unsure but there might be a mini-image on GameCopyWorld as the base game only uses a simple disc check (DLC uses SecuROM online verification.) so it shouldn't be anything complicated.
(Needs a new crack though for these latest changes.)

EDIT: Seems to only update the main EXE file.

The patch is like 192MB so I bet more than the .exe is updated Rolling Eyes

The mini-image on GameCopyWorld is for use with Alcohol 52% only which I don't use because it brings problems with my Test Drive Unlimited which brings problems with anything but Daemon Tools (and the light version).

That's why I've been using the 1.20 crack until now.

I guess I have to use the DVD until some good dude out there manages to crack it or create a new mini-image mountable in Daemon Tools (Lite).

Thanks anyways, JBeckman.

It's probably cumulative, all I can see that changed for the Steam version was the EXE file. Smile

Alcohol and Daemon Tools both use the same MDS/MDF format so it should work with both, I'll check it.
(There are of course various blacklists possible but a disc-check should have nothing like that compared to SecuROM or Tages.)

EDIT: Seems it was a bit more, the Common.usf file and several engine related package files were updated as well after checking the folders more thoroughly, part of the game shaders and startup data, might be related to that 3D crosshair fix and version number.

According to the instruction some .dll-file from Alcohol is required for A.C.I.D to work so I haven't even bothered to try it.

A.C.I.D is a adaption of the tool YASU, should be fairly identical though Yasu.exe might be blacklisted compared to Acid.exe, that's SecuROM though and as far as I know the base game just uses a disc check and nothing else.
(Online versions use SecuROM and the DLC also do but those shouldn't interfere.)

EDIT: Could also try the new version of DTE released a few days ago, not as good with normal blacklistings without USB emulation however and that can be a bit buggy.

EDIT: Or am I mixing things up with Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age which used disc checks whereas Borderlands did use SecuROM but not online activation?
(In that case Yasu and Acid can be a bit problematic with later versions, should work on P45 and newer motherboards however.)
