why is having a different studio handling mp a BAD thing? as long as the studio has high production values, its a very GOOD thing because it means instead of dividing attention/time/resources to different aspects of the game, it means total focus on what their doing for both teams. i see it as a potentially great thing.
i say potentially, because of course it could all turn to custard, if the team sucks or if they do a bad job etc... all im saying is that if they pull it off, it has great potential.

Yes, but they are also the ones that brought such quality games as Pariah and Warpath.

Yes, but other than U, UT and UT03, which were co-developed with Epic (and closely supervised by them), they only seem to have low points.

Meh!
Dark Sector rocked. A really fun game.
Epic Pinball is supreme.
Unreal Tournament<>Unreal Tournament 2004 are awesome! UT2003 sucked ass, but it at least added a nice graphical base for UT2004 to build on.
Keep the faith, brother!

DE had nothing to do with 2004, they are credited for the maps and content that was taken from 03.
But hey, I really hope it turns out well!

Yes, I might get it even though I found the first game to be very boring crap in terms of gameplay. If only to increase the size of my Steam e-penis which no one really cares about. lol

Yes I suppose the Torrent Edition would be perfectly fine and be the same experience but then how would I brag to my Internet pals about my awesome games?! And I can't lose to that dude who has more games than me! MUST PURCHASE GAME EVEN IF I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO HALF OF THE FIRST GAME.
*insert Gabe e-penis joke*

The BioShock 2 Listing on Steam offers system specifications for 2K Games' upcoming shooter sequel, which feature an outline of the game's use of DRM and how Games for Windows is required to play the game (thanks nin via Shacknews). They do not list activation limitations They list a "15 machine activation limit," reminiscent of the the original BioShock which had lower number of allowed installations until they were removed, and the game will use Games for Windows LIVE as well as Sony DADC SecuROM. Word is: "Initial installation requires one-time internet connection; Ability to save game, earn achievements, receive title updates and online play requires log-in to Games for Windows LIVE; software installations required including Microsoft Visual C++2008 Runtime Libraries, Games for Windows LIVE client, Games for Windows LIVE Client Patch, Sony DADC SecuROM, Microsoft DirectX." The system specs follow.
