The game always starts on my secondary monitor Shocked

havent found a solution to this via the googles.

my bigger monitor is the primary one but strangely enough it is listed as 2, when looking at the windows settings (xp, but it is set to primary and all other games seem to get it right so far...).

nvidia 8800 gt, updated the game to v1.04.

Try exchanging the connectors to make the big one #1 and/or delete the small one from the device manager and do a hardware rescan and/or remove both connectors while system is running and connect the big one first.

ugh

disconnect the secondary monitor then startup Windows. This makes the primary monitor to definitely be monitor 1. Then shutdown, reconnect the secondary, then startup Windows again. This should make the secondary monitor #2.

thanx! Thought about disconnecting already and will try that later.

but are there no ways to force a game on a specific monitor software-side?

well, the thing that i feared the most happened. It fucked up all my icons (not that many Very Happy) and windows thought to use the settings of my turned off monitor on the other one => resulting in a 90° turned display. Was fun to navigate through the dialog windows while being skewed that way, hahahaha

And yes, Fear works now. So thanx again, for the tip! =D
