Thats great news, loving fallout 3.
just started playing it again, thanx for the mod recommend btw.
I will try FWE when im finished playing vanilla, havent finished it be4.
Currently using graphic mods only

I really really hope it's nothing like Fallout 3. I simply couldn't get into that game for some reason, even with all the mods.

F3 has nothing to do with Fallout, apart from the name.
And i do hope, and it seems logical to think, that this new Fallout game will be more true to the original game as many of the fans disliked what beth did to the serie.
If not, then it would have been an expansion pack and its not...?

Which is totaly irelevant in FO1/2 vs FO3 comparison. FO3 sucks in other areas, being a 3D game is not a bad thing.

I thought this was going to be isometric, even though it uses the same engine and setting as Fallout 3.

Ugh, I hope it's like Fallout 3. I never got into the originals which may explain my lack of hatred for Fallout 3 (I loved it)!

Fallout 3 was horrible(got bored after a few hours) felt pretty much like Oblivion except with a new look( i know its the same engine) awkard combat, stupid ai, lame/short story, bugsbugsbugs etc etc
hope this one is different, but i doubt it

Well Fallout 3 was better than I expected it to be but since my expectations were as low as low can be that probably doesn't say much. Hopefully New vegas will have better and more meaningful stats/skills, more weapons, more conversation options, a better traveling and encounter system and more.

Yeah maybe after going through hundreds of mods and spending hours on getting them to work properly

Oh with mods it gets even better. I played it vanilla (before the game was even officially released, let alone the DLC that came later) on the 360 and absolutely loved it! Yeah, it's not Fallout as we know it, but the game itself was still solid. I've since played it again (and again, and again, and again) with all the DLC and a metric shit-ton of mods ... and it just keeps getting better.

Anyone who was expecting Fallout as we know it after ten years must've been naive or plain stupid. Even now with New Vegas, a game developed by Obsidian, you can't expect the old Falllout feel. People grow up and dev studios evolve.

EDIT: But what's up with the rubber wheel, where are the hover drives  What Claptrap is doing in there
