August 30, 2007 - IGN has learned that Lionsgate is so wildly enthusiastic about Kyle Ward's script for the videogame-to-film adaptation Kane & Lynch that the studio is fast-tracking the project to begin shooting this fall.
We have also heard that several big-name actors are being considered for the title roles, including one A-lister whose identity we're not currently at liberty to disclose but who we're told is eager to do the film and likes Ward's script.
Variety reported in May that two scripts had been in the works for the project, though the plan was to use only one of them. Ward was scripting one, while Jieho Lee and Bob DeRosa penned the other. Now we've confirmed that Ward's draft has won out.
The story will parallel that of the Eidos game, which involves a mercenary named Kane and a "medicated psychopath" called Lynch. The two encounter one another while en route to death row, and together they decide to embark on a quest for revenge against Kane's former employers, one of those mysterious and covert organization types.

...produced by the same people responsible for the Hitman game-to-film adaptation...
different writer/director/cast though ... the director has worked on a bunch of movies as second unit director, some good some bad ...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0186426/
these same producers are involved in a number of video game adaptations...
Quote:
Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter will produce with Jason Blumenthal and Todd Black and the Willis Brothers Co.
Askarieh and Alter were producers on the Eidos transfer "Hitman," which grossed $100 million for 20th Century Fox. The producers are also developing "Jonny Quest" at Warner Bros., "Hack/Slash" at Rogue and "Spy-Hunter" for Universal.
game was kinda meh... and i just cant see anything stand-out enough to really make this into a memorable film... so yeah, not really registering on my scope of interest for now. ill reevaluate when a trailer shows up.
i really enjoyed die hard 4, it was far better than most action films out there, and definately a worthy die hard film, not to mention they managed to keep the character intact, unlike most franchises (ie how the fuck up most franchises)
i thought Die Hard 4 was pretty weak , one liners were missing , a shitload of awesome cursing was missing.
no proper action due to rating , more spectacle than proper die hard action.
Now Die Hard 3 , there's an awesome sequel.
Kane and Lynch was pretty much great , interesting characters , they werent really anti-heroes , just plain bad , and that was really great stuff , violent and gritty .
sure the story was hollow and i didnt have any feeling and the ending could have been better done (keeping the same material though) . it felt disconnected but the characters were really great , loading dialog and the scene with the shovel was fucking great.
it pretty much had a great hollywood style formula , but apparently it's just too violent even for hollywood
not sure what happened to him, he doesn't even get on ICQ anymore
He is most likely in jail. He said he "did something" some months after he disappeared the first time... he also said everyone would get their money. If they did, I don't know :/

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
Late last year, we learned that Bruce Willis had committed to the role of Adam “Kane” Marcus, a sociopathic prisoner who becomes an unlikely (and still very violent) action hero in a film based on the video game Kane And Lynch.
And now we know who is playing Lynch: Jamie Foxx.
Willis’ Kane is a mercenary framed and thrown in the slammer who gets sprung by his old muckers to complete a mission – grab a doomsday device for them, or his wife and daughter will die. Foxx, on the other hand, is a fellow prisoner, a demented sociopath with some seriously violent tendencies.Deadline Hollywood reports that writer Kyle Ward twittered the casting news, so while there’s no official announcement just yet, you can likely expect the pair to report to the set in August.
