The softmod im using works only for 4.1. I know theres one for 4.2 but i cant help you with that

I used the guide/kit from usenet 4.2 Ninja[UK]
Has all tools and decent directions. Just need sd card + wifi. I didn't backup the nand though :/

the 4.2 thread there is monstrous..no idea what version I've got on my wii, it is the latest I know that much.
but since I have a north american wii and moved to korea, I wouldn't mind modding this so I don't have to order games.
it allows Hard drive USB loading of backups? what about virtual console/wii ware stuff?
intel ultra 7 265k, 64gb ram, 3070
