So, I just bought the game, 5 bucks was waaay to tempting. I also got a buddy invite from someone and the subscription details says this

Does that mean I have 30 + 21 days?

Dang, didn't see that. So a friend bought the game too, with my buddy invite, but my subscription expiry date is still the same. Does it take time to update or something?

My account got hacked and it took 9 days to get it resolved. They added 3 weeks of playing time to my account though. |

i got hacked for 4mnths plus didnt even know at one point, i didnt get any extra playtime and i lost a charon in the process  but i did gain a transfered character and a providence (worth 6-7 billion isk)

Well, turns out that the buddy thingy doesn't work if the invitee buys the game through Steam, there goes a free month...

last time i played (trial) i got 5+ mio in 2 days , simply because i got lucky and i found some implant that was worth like 3+ mio haha.
Btw, still thinking about, how i almost became a GM for EVE (i was in the Late Alpha/Beta and they offered me a GM spot, because i was helpful etc. i denied tho, because it would mean like spending 8 hours a day etc. .... oh imagine the stuff i could have done haha).

yup every race have different ships - i started gallente it was a guess - chosen it and let play - drone + tanks i like in that game that you can easy switch the playstyle
if i want ill take my destroyer and go to mission runs
if i want take retreiver and mine mine mine mine
if i want take surveyor and exploring anomalies (switching ships according to what i found and ALL of them can be done by one character - you dont have different characters to play different role - but from the other side - mastering all usefull skills for all playstyles take ... years

I'm sorry boys but the Curse is twice the solo-ship the Pilgrim will ever be - and 4 times the gang ship. The Pilgrim is slow (because you HAVE to armor tank it), it's got crappy range on it's neuts with only 12km and it's dps isn't good at all at only 224dps with hammerhead II's. Only redeeming factor is that you have mid-slots available you can put tracking disruptors in.
Oh yeah and you can choose your fights because you can warp cloaked but then again so can you in a Curse because of it's speed and the fact that inties and Vagas shuns it.
Pilgrim neut range 12km vs Curse 36km (t2 mods)
Pilgrim speed w/800mm plate 1245m/s vs Curse nano+shield 1782m/s
Pilgrim dps 224 vs Curse 293 w/ 3x Heavy msl or 320 with HAMs. Hvy msl is best though.
Pilgrim EFT HP 22k vs Curse EFT HP 27k. Pilgrim has MAR but you won't have cap to run it anyway, even with a Cap injector, at least not for very long.
The Curse has the speed and range of neuts to dictate range whereas once the Pilgrim is commited it will have difficulties escaping. I've flown the Pilgrim for a long time and I've started sweating many a time when I attacked a lone BS in a belt only to pick up several of his buddies on scan in mid-fight. Forget about neuting an inty in a Pilgrim as no inty pilot will ever get within neuting range. A Curse OTOH eat inties for breakfast. The quality difference between the Pilgrim and the Curse is huuuuge. I'm glad you boys think otherwise though so we can keep the price on the Curse low for as long as possible.
I fly for Triumvirate at the moment which is rated as the second best alliance in EVE according to battleclinic and no one flies the Pilgrim here. The Curse OTOH you will find in just about any of our roaming gangs.

every now and then i use a trial for eve, just for the kicks (dont see myself doing any long term anymore). Fun is, you can gank people after like 5-7 days already haha.
