It's a game developed by a first time studio released with little to no fan-fare; regardless of the publisher I'd say there are definite indie-sensibilities driving the design of this game.

Really good game but im stuck

After talking to Samael im supposed to go "high ground" i think its the building left from the spot i have to go to, but there is this crystal blocking the way when i go underground and up... am i supposed to go somewhere else first?

I'd reburn. Hitachi 1.51's are meant to be able to play Wave 4's (they're the only one on that firmware that can).
Have you run the image through abgx to confirm its a working img?

I patch my games with wave 3 files. With abgx and then it is a perfect working wave 3 game

| Spoiler: | you can go to the left(if you are coming from samael), there should be blue orbs in the canyon. press A and then Press A and hold it you should spread out your wings and the orb should lift you up |

It's as if Kratos sexed Zelda up and the two had a love child; a brilliant, perfect lovechild.
I really enjoy this game, everything is so fluent, you always get a new item/ability once you feel comfortable with your current ones, there are some nice scenes that break the normal pace, like flying on a griffon shooting down enemies, or finding some big ass gun to shoot your way through hordes of enemies. Just a nice change of pace that keeps you from getting bored.

the combat is like GoW and the dungeons are like Zelda
- small puzzles
- you get an item in it to advance further, this also unlocks new paths in the "overworld" which connects them all
- each dungeon has a boss at the end
you also get some abilities in the overworld from key chars such as the ability to glide which you need to get to the first dungeon.
I read that later on you will be able to summon your horse, but I haven't reached that point yet.
The game is pretty linear. Sometimes you can take a different path to get some secret stuff and sometimes there are blocked paths you can't enter yet.

I am disappointed. Graphics are mediocre and the framerate is LOW! Too bad, could have been much better. Deff not worth a 9+

well that pretty much ruins everything for me, doesn't matter how good a game is, if the frame rate is low, its just no good and no fun to play.... IMO

good god.. its not fucking zelda or GofW its back to the roots of Legacy OF Kain : SOUL REAVER
art is the same , game mechanic is the same and even graphical detail ... but this game is lacking they engine fails on the xbox360 constant tearing = no v-sych , constant frame-rate issue on massive 20 target baddies, no AA ,it runs on the same resolution as MW2 ... but looks the same as Legacy Of Kain Soul Reaver 2 and thats OUCH comparing PS2 hardware to xbox360 :/
but its fun if you play on

For those who can not get into this game because of "frame rate" issues or what have you - my heart goes out to you. It really does. Those who dug Brutal Legend and its stylized presentation (which didn't look "omg GTAIV"), or hell who like a good fun game with graphics that do not in any way take away from the experience - definitely worthy of a burn.

Ha. No kidding. Just amazed at some of the graphics complaining. I think some people remember some of these games A LOT differently than is actually true.

It's not, it looks just good, the ps2 comparison's a bit stretched. It's not mindblowing, it's good. Personally i think it looks great, unlike most games these day, it has personality.

the graphics are resonable, the art direction makes up for what it lacks in a dynamic lighting engine apart from the players charatcer shadow the lighting is very static. The gameply is pretty fluid, though there is some slow down and tearing. n terms of god of war comparisons, its certainly not in the league of GOWIII but its an above average fun game

bad media batch, your burner laser coul be on the way out, xbox360 laser could be going. I installed fne to the hard drive, scan the disk you burnt for errors. When my burner starts going i always notice higher error rates on DL media first

I was able to install it without problems.
Maybe your console is banned? I think then you aren't able to install games to HDD anymore.

Errr....My console isn't banned. That's for sure. Every other games before this installed perfectly, including the most recent Bayonetta. The Xbox 360 lens dying, too, is a remote possibility, as my console is hardly 4 months old. The DVD works fine and I can play the game, but it does halt for a few seconds when a boss fight is about to start.
