I'm unpacking the expansion as we speak. I'll try to install it with the cracked RAZOR version first, and see what that does. If I get the same error as other people are getting I'll reinstall and see if that fixes it.

Does the new patch need new crack or do they work with some mini-image... or even without anything?

So, how is the expansion itself? Lots of stuff to do, lots of stuff to achieve? Or just some bare essentials and the rest will be sold as DLCs?

Mmh.. Installed the sims 3 and the expansion, played for 5 minutes  , seems like there are some new skills and jobs.
Didn't try going on a holiday, but from what I read, the holidays are quite sucky.

No it doesn't, though you get a few extra items to use and stuff like new "perks" for your character and stuff like that, just apply the various releases and updates to bring the "DLC" content up to date (Latest one should be the Nov. 5th pack, full version should be the August 2009 compilation with the various updates up to 13th October and finally the 5th November one, the Explorer's Loot DLC isn't released yet as it's a bonus for those who register the expansion online but it should leak soon enough I imagine as all others have.)
EDIT: It's not fully mod compatible by the way, wasn't using much though aside from the mosaic remover (No real body modifications other than that.) and a nointro patch along with a console enabler.
(Would have been fun to experiment with the incest and pregnancy mod but that'll have to wait, yeah I'm a bit twisted perhaps but might as well take it all the way if I'm already dictating so much about these "sims" lives already, hahaha. - http://www.sexysims2.com/download.php?f=52&showType=1&gs=2 )

Yes you can. It seems they count the expansion as a separate game. It requires you to use a separate exe instead of the original.

Decided to install regardless, and it's so-so. The holidays are just treasure hunts, and there is simply no point bringing the whole family, since you'll most likely control only one person, exploring tombs and doing missions, while the rest of the bunch stays at the designated hotel/camp/whatever, since there is nothing to do other than exploring/questing.
The visa system is also a big annoyance. You have a limited time that you can spen at each location and after that, you'll have to go home and wait two days until you can go back to continue whatever you were doing.
There are tonns of stuff to decotare the house with now. Lots of new gems, ridicilous amounts of relics (statues, vases, bowls, etc). The new skills are ok, like martial arts, wine-making (or nectar here), etc.
Also, a funny little easter-egg regarding board-breaking in the martial-arts skill.  Spoiler: | Once you train enough, you can start breaking space-rocks (no need to collect them), and they will sometimes spawn some kind of gem after successfully breaking them. And here's the funny part: I got a tiberium. From a space rock.  |

Hi, I'm in a little need of help, as I'm not sure if I've done it right.
I downloaded the RAZOR release, and I installed it. I installed the 1.7.9 patch, straight after I installed it, so I didn't copy over any cracks.
I then Installed the Expansion, again not updates or cracks.
I got go C:/Prog Files/ Elect Arts / Sims 3/ Game / Bin
I click TS3 and it loads, but it loads as the World Adventures Expansion.
When I click Sims3 Launcher, the version is 2.0.86.002002
Have I done everything correctly?

Hey bud =)
If it's anything like the original games + expansions, then it always loads the very latest expansion. Like, if I were to install Sims 2 and then Sims 2 University, the game would forever load up as University - though you get all the content from both combined.

Ok I have this problem:
1. I performed a clean instalation of Sims 3 and patch 1.8.25 (Sims3_1.8.25.003002_from_1.0.631.00002.exe)
2. Then I installed the expansion and the patch 2.3.33 (Sims3_2.3.33.003002_from_2.0.86.002002.exe)
3. Then I copied the fasiso cracks into the appropriate folders
Now, the game won't launch when I click play in the launcher, it asks for DVD. But it launches when running the EXEs directly.
The second problem is the DLCs and shop items. I have all four scene addons (Riverview by Battery, store content etc), they all worked with previous versions, but now the launcher won't install all of them. I hit the "select all" button, press "install" but after the "success" message, many of them remain not installed, and the successive attempt on the remaining stuff also gives "success" message but won't install. What is the problem, did they add some check into launcher for the leaked DLC?

Latest patch makes DLC harder to rip, needs to be untouched or something like that, unsure if there's a good way to do this, tried to turn them into mod packages, took nearly a hour for the savegame to process (I alt-tabbed earlier though.) and eventually crash due to using too much RAM.
As for the crack the .dll file isn't included in that release so I guess that's why the launcher asks for the disc compared to running the EXE directly.
(Launcher itself might need to be cracked though if so I don't know the purpose of said .dll.)

But is there any proper way to play the game without that file or can I download it from somewhere?

Same problems here it seem the lattest updates for the sims3 - 1.82 and for addon world adventure's 2.33 are a big shit nothing will work proper the game crash by loading ( on win xp x86 not with vista64) and download content can not reused to the game. Nucke the crack or the update i don't know but is out for playing after this two updates. HAPPY CHRISMAS TO ALL's and have fun don't buy any game we allways don't work EAgame hunt the final user..
