The damn thing crashes during loading, either when the game loads new scenes or when i try to load a saved game. The progress bar reaches about 50% then I get a windows error message (the kind that wants you to send info about the crash to Mocrosoft and I have to restart the game(most often with the exact same result). If Im lucky I can play until the next load situation where the game will crash again.
I have downloaded the new catalyst drivers for my ASUS Radeon 9600 XT and i have the latest DirectX drivers. I have tried to change game resolution, but no luck. Is still crashes at the same place 9 times out of 10.
Does anyone have the same problem and does anyone have a solution for this? Cause im plum out of ideas, except a full windows reinstall.
Cause the really funny part is that I got exactly the same problem with KoToR I when I resintalled that a couple of weeks ago. And that game I have played on this exact same rig numerous times without any problems at all.
it's the fault of lucasarts and their shitty port... i don't have such extrem crashes as you do but it crashes every 2-3 hours for me without a reason and in different locations(not reproducable...just BANG kotor2 unhandled exception blahblah) but this happens in the retail version too and has nothing todo with the crack
the game doesn't tell you "save often and in different slots" for no reason
also the game runs slow without a reason in some parts of the game...for example in the jungle with all that detail it runs 100% smooth but indoors my frames drop alot...should be the other way around
