I am very happy to see this DLC but I am 75% done with the game on the X360 and I am now banned without getting the DLC. So, it looks like I am going to start over on the PC so I can play this DLC. Oh well, I love the game so it's not that big a deal.

Does anyone know if the DLC is something you can only do after you have completed the game? Or is it doable at any point?

Thanks,

MD

Oh Cool!! I guess it's just deciding if I am a high enough level to deal with the Zombies then. Thanks again!

I don't think this has been posted before, but the save editors and weapon creators have been evolving a fair bit, from the start with Gibbed's Save editor and now Willowtree takes it a lot further.

Willowtree Save Game Modifier, pretty easy to use and understand

To help you build weapons from scratch there's this

Create some scary stuff Smile

It works on X360 and PS3 as well? ( http://blmodding.wikidot.com/how-to-mod-it ) interesting although I guess some people might abuse it a bit seeing how open the multiplayer mode is, fun to use in SP though after going trough the game for a while now so thanks for posting it. Smile

Yes. some modding of games on X360 was possible before, and now with it being completely hacked with JTAG method you can run unsigned xex'es (xbox exe's) which makes it possible to mod the hell out of any game Smile

Probably some later fetch quest, must be a ton of brains to turn in however seeing as everyone drops them if you get a headshot kill. Very Happy
(Or perhaps a money source after completing the DLC main quest?)

Disable Catalyst AI or use 9.12 drivers in the hardware section, known 9.11 bug along with non-working AF filtering. Smile

Damn I played through the original game and deleted it afterward, with my savegame. I won't play the whole thing again just for the DLC, especially how repetitive it gets.

It's still fun on the second playthrough IMO. Sure the models are the same but the names of most of the bad guys are different. The bosses are named the same but they may have different equipment and they act differently. You keep your level, equipment, and skills (you can respec within your class at any time during the game though). I imagine future DLC will add new features to the game to keep it semi-fresh.

To those who actually finish first playthrough:

You already play DLC with your 1st or 2nd playthrough option?

You can play it during both, just choose a playtrough and go to a larger checkpoint "mast" (Or what it is, not those smaller ones that only saves progress.) and choose to teleport to the new area (Works even if the main teleport system is offline.)

Going trough it during the second playtrough with my lv. 50 character enemies so far have been about one "rank" below my character so enemies are around level 46.
(As to explain the system a bit weapons have five or so ranks with the highest meaning the weapon is level 48.)

Ofcourse at lv. 50 you don't really gain much at all from the DLC unless you happen to get a good drop from a boss or similar to replace your current already (Most probably.) very high end equipment. Smile
(The story is quite fun though although it plays very similar to the original game as I said but with undead theme enemies and locations with a mix of halloween items like pumpkins, heh.)

Will be interesting to see how the second DLC is, some of the "tournaments" look to be quite big.

Not entirely, explanation follows....

 Spoiler:

I can't help but think that the fact that you can pick them up at any time in the DLC is actually a bug, but oh well.
