Insane Christian group wants to ban Modern Warfare 2
It wouldn't be Christmas without some good ol' fashioned Christian intolerance, would it? A bunch of radical wingnuts have taken issue with Modern Warfare 2, declaring that all decent people should denounce it and the "massacre level" contained within.
"All decent people should denounce the video game Modern Warfare 2 and join in opposing the sale and use of such games," says Maine's Christian Civic League, promoting the love and understanding that Christianity is known for. "Moreover, it may be time for Maine to begin a debate over the advisability of banning these games completely, giving due consideration to both the First Amendment, and the danger these violent games pose to the public."
Apparently, games, drugs and "outrageous" rock music are part of a "witch's brew" that will "lead to tragedy" in Maine.
Sounds about right for people like this -- "I don't agree with something, therefore it is dangerous and should be banned." Pretty much the same thinking that led to witch burning, stoning and other paranoia-driven atrocities committed in the name of THE LAWD.
Speaking of which, this very same Christian group actually DID accuse a bookstore owner of being a witch who can cast spells on people. Seriously.

Yes, there's a new one, apparently IW didn't fix anything, more like they put a temporary band aid that didn't last very long. You can supposedly still rank hack too. But the people you see running could also be using the care package+marathon+lightweight+commando class unless you already knew about that one.

1. PS3 is relatively hack-free. There's almost no known "esp" or "no recoil" or "aimbot" hacks.
2. PC has a far, far, far better control system. No doubt someone will say "Baw, I'd kick your ass with my controller" but they're silly people. Keyboard/Mouse controls are perfection.
The PC also has the added bonus of higher resolutions and a more fluid framerate.

Pc is better when it comes to control and quality (if you have a PC powerfull enough) but the cheating factor is way much higher on PC.

I nearly said something like that last night but then I realised the one advantage might be more kills giving you a higher score to rank up quicker.. but yeah, I agree with what you said.

Could someone explain to me how cheating on PS3 would work? I don't want instructions to cheat obviously, but I would just loike to know how it is possible, as you can't run custom code on the PS3?!

I felt that the Xbox version was a 10/10 after beating it but playing this game on a PC is a whole new experience. Everything is just better on the PC (loads faster, sharper textures, better controls). I haven't beaten it yet on my pc but sniping with a mouse just feels like cheating cuz its too damn accurate
However, this is one game that the framerate is not noticeably better on the PC because the console version runs at a locked 60fps. So in the framerate department I would rate them pretty equal. However, there are some RARE framerate drops in the console version that dont occur in the PC version. But these moments are very rare and hardly noticeable when playing it on the console

I think it's a hacked save file that's loaded up via USB into the PS3 and then open up while in game.
I am getting annoyed.. playing a long game like domination, and then after like 30 minutes, near the end of round 2, the host can't be mitigated and i loose all my game points.
