You might be a little bit surprised that we sent out an email. But don't be afraid, we mean you no harm! And don't worry, we won't start sending emails regularly, as all of us are most likely too lazy to write one.
Some of you might think, what happened in the past years. And what will happen in the near future... Well, let us try to explain.
* We will begin explaing things about MediaHump and NFOHump.
* And we will end with the new site NFOrce is hosting, called MySites (http://www.mysites.com).
- MediaHump (www.mediahump.com)
A couple of years ago [mrt] created MediaHump, to place for NFOrce users to freely store and share their media. The site is and will be updated with features slowly every now and then. Nowadays it allows NFOrce users able to post pictures, songs, create galleries, make private or semi-private shares and more...
- NFOHump (www.nfohump.com)
A while ago we had to take the decision to move the NFO's away from www.nforce.nl to www.nfohump.com. The reason for this were lawsuites against clients of NFOrce Hosting. They were going to bring up the relation between the NFO website and the hosting company. Which is kinda lame as the website is completely an open community and has nothing to do whatsoever with the hosting part of NFOrce.
We are aware of the fact people didn't like the name NFOHump in the beginning, and maybe even still some don't like the name. But it was the most logical name as we already had MediaHump as well.
Changes to be expected for NFOHump are as follow:
* Give the community/users the ability to post NFO's and other related information.
* Change the layout to something more simple, better looks (in our opinion).
* Change of the code, making it easier to browse around on the website.
- MySites (www.mysites.com)
For some time now, NFOrce has been working on an easy way to save and share files. It's called MySites.com. The aim is to allow you to upload any HD content you want (photos, videos, etc) and save them, for free and forever.
We don't put any limits on how you can reach the file:
* You can put any file size, any format
* There's no speed limits, quotas, caps, waiting screens
* We don't resize the original file, you can even hotlink to it
We also make it possible to publish your files on your Facebook stream or Twitter, and there's also embed codes and BB-codes. We know there's plenty of file uploading sites out there, like Rapidshare, Megaupload etc, but they all come with restrictions, and they're not really open. It's a pretty big effort from NFOrce, and we've even raised money to make it happen. It's still early, but we hope you'll try it for your files.
We're adding this soon:
- New design (yeah, the current design sux, we're getting pros to fix it  )

- Dropbox style app: basically the same as Dropbox but without the limits.

EDIT: So this mysites, that's like facebook or? Because I don't have fagbook and I don't intent to :\ I don't like those social networks too much...

wtf is that? First i've heard of it... Will move this to website feedback and await Rinze opinion.
Sounds like a load of crap to me though... redesign? come on. And letting users post nfos? Might work, but i just got the review section up and running and not one person has bothered to do one yet - so i doubt it'll work...
