Damn there is much happening in this game that i can't follow Very Happy

Love it, very fluid and in my opinion much better than dmc4.

Alright so to sum up, the framerate is as good as DMC4 (which is absolutely perfect) and the gameplay is better than DMC4. Sounds good to me Il definitely check it out later today!

The framerate is good on X360, not so on PS3.

Do all of u really think this is a retail release ? From what i've seen, this game seems to be Wave3 when all others are Wave4 since several months... strange Confused

Exactly. This was certified and signed by Microsoft weeks ago and held back for business reasons (most likely to have a release date closer to christmas in the west).

"I heard it from a guy" that the only version that exists is indeed japanese which is done with only english audio (and has japanese subtitles). The PS3 version is of course RF, but it's quite possible that the only thing done for the X360 version is region locking to JP for their release (just because they can) and then making RF copies for the rest of the world later while it's still the same one and only original version.
(And by looking at the timestamp which says "2009/06/15" it' pretty obvious they aren't working on the game any more)

excellent game, gives the fingers a workout!. DMC is this on steriods for women. Gameplay is great, bosses are massive, moves and combo's are excellent with good dodge and block techniques

So anyone completed it yet? Actually saving this one (a little) because there will most likely not be any games before next year. So just finished 2nd chapter.

Checked achievements but can't really remember, where there 14 chapters?

yeah normal is a bit hard if you haven't perfected the evade and some hard-hitting combos when they introduce the more annoying enemies and jeanne. and easy is simply too-fucking-easy. might as well get a cat or gerbil to push the buttons Laughing

/edit: just finished it, beautiful game. it's not perfect by any means - story and dialogue are fubar and thank god it gets less and less obnoxious the more you progress, but it clearly has its place in my top10 beat em ups list.

@deelix: it's 18 chapters, counting the prologue+epilogue

oh and btw, it's definitely NOT censored. you cleave enemies in half, torture finishers are there, blood all over the place - ffs, you even rip off body parts from bosses and eat some of them with your hair creatures Laughing

I wish there was a difficulty in between easy and normal, it sucks that easy = automatic mode (might aswell just sit and watch the cpu play completely), I'd have just preferred it to be like normal, except that health is depleted at a lesser rate so I can get used to the combos and perfect the dodging etc...especially on the unexpectedly annoying enemies (like the flamed ones that you can't even hit without using slo mo)

oh well, at least there's a checkpoint around every corner Smile

Loving this game and really didn't expect to. I can't actually put it down and played for about 7 hours yesterday.

I find most of my deaths come from the QTE's or just plain stupidity. I always forget about the lollipops until its too late.

Great game, and that comes from someone that normally do not like these type of games. I liked DMC, but the followups wasn't really anything special. GOW are good though...and I think this feels like that, alot of variation in the levels, plus the fact that you do not have a camera and wants to kill you. The controlls are also top notch, love this game...abit cheesy at times, but I kind of feel like it does not even take itself so serious..so it's all fine.

You could say that, and to that add a killer controll Smile But the QTE is not overused as in Ninja Blade, they can show up when you least expect it...and that made me die a couple of times. But it's not like you will be sent back to the begining of the level if that happens either, so it's kind of forgiving.

I still can't get in to this game Confused the cheezy main character is killing it for me. I cant stand this Japanese style of a woman being an absolute killing mushing and to top it of she walks around in a school girl uniform. what ever happened to the cool ass characters that they produced in the 90's aka Berserk (Guts) , Ninja Scroll (Jubei) or hokuto no ken. seriously, Japanese are leaving in the pussy land for this past decade. Rolling Eyes
