Yeah, single player game kinda sucks, i was quite dissapointed with it too...
... BUT...
Try the game co-op and You'll have problems sucking out of it. I still play it with my friends, 3 or 4 times a week , for an hour or two (getting to the end i suppose) and we're all very satisfied with the kind of experience it offers in multiplay.

Yeah, but when you beat the game there's pretty much nothing else to do except to start a new character.. The game has no end-game at all which sucks.
Well, You can always wait for the DLC. It will come to PC, sooner or later and the first one alone is supposedly 6 hours long, which isn't that bad ( and also isn't that hard to do, since it's easy to fill in with this kind of gameplay ).
The problem with the DLC is that it's level specific. Am I going to restart a new character every time they release a DLC just so my toon does that quest at the appropriate time? (According to the review, most of the zombies are lvl 15-16 or so..)
At least add the new DLC stuff so it fits at the end of playthrough 1 or so..
It seems it isn't level specific, at least that's what the guy in the review says.

"It's a delightfully non-broken handling of new content (hello Fallout 3), and the auto-levelling of the island's monsters to match its players seems pretty smart."
I'll buy this DLC if the FUCKING FAGS at Gearbox (or maybe 2k are the ones to blame, who knows in cases like these) decides to fix the PC version. Buggy crap patch taking a month, interface from hell, buggy connectivity... That should teach me to buy stuff before I pirate them (at least AAA crap that you can only guess about how well supported it will be).
Gearbox Software and 2K Games are hard at work on both the first downloadable content pack “Zombie Island of Dr. Ned” and a new patch for the PC version ofBorderlands, and will be offering more details about content and availability very shortly.
If you buy key via g2play, can you get just the scene release? Or is it protected and you need dvd?
No key is needed - you can play online with the scene release without issue (or at least you could when it was first release, don't know if that's still the case).
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

DLC is out on steam. Seems they added securom for the dlc with a 5 activation limit.
Wierd main game did not have it why start now. Well fuck em anyway give me a proper patch first. Sloppy ports should be banned.
...whats bad abou 10 bucks? granted Im not wasting any money on gearbox of 2K games ever again but 10 isn't shit compared to what there charging for dragon age DLC. That and they said it'd be 10 bucks from the start
seems to be "free".... does that mean you can dl it for free and that you have to pay to "activate" the DLC or how is that supposed to work? Size is 1,1 gigs - that may fit for the DLC.
